Bro. I was actually so surprised this worked. Thanks a bunch, and a quick note to everyone in need- I had to hold the two buttons for 20 seconds to hear the second sound initiating the reboot.

Assembled some new furniture and couldn't see the xbox HDMI image.
Made a factory reset, and finally noticed I had put the cord into the wrong slot.

I've just spent 3 days trying to fix this. I'm stuck. totally stuck. I've tried every solution out there. Nothing works. Changed cables, reversed cables. Changed TV. Powered down, powered up, held this button, held that button, held two buttons, held three buttons, listened for beeps, counted to 10, counted to 15, counted to sodding 100. Nothing works!

Thanks dude! I just moved out of my dorm and someone was throwing away a brand new monitor so I picked it up and took it home. Tested it and there was no signal coming through 👎! But after your help I got this shit rolling. Alls I gots to do’s now is fox the resolution and it’s epic gamer time 🤘😎

Omg, thank you so much. I have no clue how to work these game consoles. I had it set up in my TV and it wasn't working. I unplugged it and reversed the hdmi cord and turned it back on. It was so simple. Thanks again for the help ❤️

I feel dumb. I moved my tv & xbox and thought there was only one hdmi port. So I couldn't figure out why it wasn't working. When you said "Make sure your hdmi cord is in HDMI IN, I checked and saw that it was in the HDMI OUT." Thumbs up for fixing my dumminess

It worked for me because I had to unplug and replicate the HDMI with someone had moved to the wrong spot. But I went ahead with the rest of the steps anyway and got the second sound at 15 secs. Thanks for the video man!

My Xbox is suffering some weird black screen glitch where I turn it on but no power up sound occurs. Ontop of that no picture appears on the screen and my controller cannot connect to the console. Furthermore it makes soft little beeps every 3 seconds when booting up for about 30 seconds. I cannot turn off my console by simply tapping it once i must hold it, and no button combinations help at all. It seems when i disconnect the power source from the xbox, my T.V allows me to switch to the HDMI/DVI channel. However the minute the xbox's power source is reconnected it greys out the HDMI/DVI setting on my T.V. If anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated because no amount of disconnecting or hard resets seems to work.

Still not working for me on any tv. Issue started 3 days ago. Xbox seems to not have phone support anymore. WTF
Took it to IT shop and no issue found. Resolved issue myself. It kept going between display and no input source. Everytime it showed the display for the .2 seconds, I navigated to the xbox display settings and turned on Allow YCC 4:2:2. It states "this may solve some problems with displaying 4k on some tvs" . Hope this helps someone!

Edit: 😱😱omgggg. It worked. Use another TV in the house but you cant switch resolution from new tv or tv you haven't used your xbox one onto the old one were you used to play. I guess you have to stick with the new one..

I know, so stupid, but I actually just organized the cables of all my Xboxes behind my tv and didn't realized when I plugged them all back in that I did it wrong. I accidentally plugged the xbox one hdmi cord into the Sat port not the out to tv port. Thx for saving me. I was trying everything before you reminded me to make sure it was in the right port.
