    Which is legit? Why does one cost more than the other? Which would fit me best?
    The technologies used and the terminology varies from brand, so we’ve put together this guide detailing the differences between authentic and replica jerseys for adidas, Nike and PUMA.

    • @RiKFSC
      @RiKFSC Před 3 lety +13

      @@randyangel9412 Adidas overall is the one which keeps you cool better. The fit overall is a bit more relaxed and the wicking and weaving method using is pretty loose throughout the whole garment so the air will breathe through more effectively.
      Nike's Vapor knit technology requires a size up to have the same level of comfort as your TTS fan version (can we stop saying replica FFS). The ventilation in the new-gen Vapor has improved but if you have a fully sublimated shirt (3 or more colours) then the material used doesn't breathe as well.
      Puma, Shincool technology used, predominately at the rear panel, it's a finely woven mesh material which works well but the namesets also block a fair bit of that. The laser cut holes at the shoulder and neck are basically aesthetic purpose only and the front panels where by are a high-quality material, don't breathe as well as the other 2.
      I hope that explains a little for you.

    • @randyangel9412
      @randyangel9412 Před 3 lety

      @@RiKFSC so for Nike if im a small I should get a medium and you say color effect the breath ability?

    • @RiKFSC
      @RiKFSC Před 3 lety +1

      @@randyangel9412 you should definitely size up on the Nike Vapor. The colour itself doesn't affect it, it's the material used. If you had say a Liverpool home top, it's a pre dyed material, and in most cases not printed over the top. it's also softer and therefore breathes better.
      The material used for prints for full sublimation (you'll see it be white on the inside) is a little harsher and therefore to accept the print on the material has to be a little tougher. You'll notice it straight away if you wear one then the other. I know it's a little hard to explain in words without pictures but you'll get what I mean.
      I talk a lot about this on my twitter and insta @rikfsc

    I hate heat press Liverpool logo. The embroidered one gives a much better feel. And believe me, it doesn't weigh that much. Many players even wear spandex underneath a jersey during a match. These days when a player scores a goal, he will rub and kiss the logo. I think they would prefer to kiss a sewn logo rather than a plastic one. And after a certain period of time (maybe 5-6 years) a plastic logo might be worn out or even peeled off.

    Is replica and fake the same?

    • @lucattsur
      @lucattsur Před 3 lety +1

      Not the same. Replica and authentic are OFFICIAL LICENSED PRODUCTS, original products. But most people use the term replica to reffer to the FAKES.

    All I know is that replicas don't have the badges for a specific event and mostly don't have the brands on the forearm on the shirts

    tf YOU SEE THE PRICE

  • @12123188
    @12123188 Před 3 lety +9

    So you pay loads of cash (even the old prices of around 60 euro's were bongus) and you still only get a "replica". That's insane! There are really good fake jerseys or actual "replicas" you can buy for around 10 bucks. Paying 90 euros for a mere replica is just not ok.

    Urghhhh when Americans say ‘preh-meer-urgh league’ rather than ‘prem-ear league’ is really annoying’ 😪 you don’t see me calling the NY Yankees the ‘New York Yahn-keys’

    I have plenty of jerseys with patches and embroideries that also have an "Authentic" Patch. So this video doesn't add up. Also jump cutting like a tik tok girl for top changes is pretty dumb. Be original!
