- Are player version football shirts really worth it?
You might have seen them: player version football shirts, also known as the Authentic version of a football shirt. They are usually more expensive, but why is this? And more importantly: Are they worth their price?

I love the player version because they are more fresh when it’s hot day than the fan version and the player version has better texture and just looks different and better than the fan ones
How long have I been wanting to know about player version jerseys, you are a living legend bro
I just bought an 'authentic' shirt to wear in the gym but if I'm buying a shirt to keep for years then definitely I'm buying a stadium/fan shirt with stitched logos as it'll last longer.
Definitely worth it. I’m collecting Juventus shirts. Only authentic once ! It’s such an amazing feeling to get real original Authentic
Score one for Marketing 😄💪
@@desinho9 have you ever try replica and original? It’s just way better for me the top version! And not being cheap person I do not give a damn about the price! I want it I buy it ! Try to earn more to afford all things you like and not complain
great content! from a collector a little bit older: the player issue versions started being a tthing (and a little revolution) with the nike 2002 editions with double layer (a little fitted sleeveless shirt inside and the proper shirt outside, both stitched by the collar. Back then EVERYBOODY wanted those. You can find funny videos of Forlán playing shirtless because he didn´t quiet understand how to put that thing on haha. Great channel, discovered it yesterday and already suscribed.
Thanks for the insightful information mate!
I also recommend the player version if you are going to add match details to it. For example, Argentina jersey with the World Cup final details or a Real Madrid jersey with last years Champions League final match details and so on. It makes as close to the real thing that players wore during those games.
Exactly, well said mate!
Can you make a video on how you handwash your kits to prevent damage on patch, sponsor, number etc. Like what type of detergent do you use, how hot should the water be and best way to dry it?
great video! i always struggle with this decision but lean towards the player version when possible because it's usually more rare and valuable in the future... so that offsets the extra 40-50 bucks in cost
I'm in the same boat but believe me: it's gonna be worth it!
Where do you typically buy Player shirts? My favorite premier league club is Everton and on the team store all theirs are 90 so I assume they are the replica fan version. The one shirt I do have (2017 Everton 3rd Kit) is a player version (atleast I think so my dad gave it to me and he said it’s authentic) so if I wanted a new kit where would I find the authentic version?

an addition to your video:
some player version shirts are just only fan version with slim fit(these player versions are only available for teams with limited budgets like anatoilan teams in turkey or u[age] national teams etc.)
Exactly, thanks for your addition!
Great content!
Can you rate Liverpools home kit for the 2023/24 season? I think it looks fire.
Player issue jerseys hit different! Especially if its a RONALDINHO shirt🇧🇷🤙🏾
do you think buying a good copy of the player version worth ?
and please can u make a video how to wash and clean your jerseys
I would only stick to originals
But the player version logos are sooo cheap heatpressed. They should make player versions with embroided logo.
It depends on the shirt, this Barça shirt has good logos imo
Depends on the brand, I have several Nike ones that have much better logos than the replica but these Adidas ones with the rubber stick on's are really not an upgrade to the embroidered ones on the replica 😅 (but perhaps they are more detailed)
i prefer them so much
Aren’t the patches gonna wash off ?
nice video!
ill be honest, the only player version shirt i’d buy is the netherlands 2014 away & home kit 😂
Awesome choices mate! I can only approve that hahah
@@JerseyPassion98 yeah! after all, im dutch so its pretty instinctively
@@xeyDB10 I'm Dutch too, would love to find these!
@@JerseyPassion98 me too, i have a stadium version of the away kit
What’s with the adidas logo mate? 😅
Where do you buy your patches?
Where do you buy the shirts?
how tall are you?
