I helped set up a disabled football club a whole back in early 2000s in my home town & I wrote to 20 clubs & we got 19 rejections that included Man Utd Liverpool Chelsea Arsenal & Spurs.
While the only club that said yes & helped us was Blackburn Rovers they sent us kits & put us in their matchday programme as well.
It shows the huge gap between the big clubs & charity’s & the smaller clubs & charity’s.

TBF it’s a pretty standard set of demands for exchange deals. When influencers asks for free stuff. You’ll want to maximize your marketing exposure.
There are people's clubs. Then there are corporations with badges that have a football team.

I asked every club in europe for autographs only Wolfsburg sent me autographs lmao props to them.
A lot of people have been doing it since that one guy who went viral with it, so I don't think the teams do it as easy as they used to do it
Same here wolfsburg emailed back and even asked which players I wanted maximum of 3 and they said they'll just send them free of charge i might try Dortmund aswell cause i want that haaland signature

@@liamdixonmusic489 If you don‘t have German stamps, you can ask for an international coupon (I don‘t know the right name for it in English) in your post office... for 1-2 autographs it should be 1.10€ and for 3-4 1.70€
Massive respect to all clubs that actually were nice enough to send stuff out. Especially Crawley Town. With the actual match day shirts. And Bury aswell. Amazing shirt that's 100% recycled materials. And wishing them the best on the new journey to the football league.
We once had a local 7v7 tournament and we needed matching shirts obviously. We e-mailed like 5 teams from the Dutch second tier if they had Some spare shirts for us, without expecting to get anything. We got 7 shirts from Cambuur Leeuwarden which was really cool.

It was probably a middle-aged woman reading the email in which he did put that they can send anything and he got a selection. I don’t whoever collected that stuff is a true representation of the generosity of the club and the point is they were allowed to send anything at all to a random emailer, which clearly we saw a parcel of a selection of things. When was the last time you got something free from your club?
Bury AFC was brilliant, nice shirt too, you have to go to one of their games for an AwayDay as soon as they are possible.

About 20 years ago I did a mini version of this with asking for a free football programme (just for my own collection not for CZcams) - god bless Rotherham United, who sent me a signed 90s football programme. I know Watford sent me 2, Coventry sent me 1, Montrose were ridiculously kind and sent me two (I'm sure there were others) and Forest sent me a reply akin to "buy them yourself you cheeky bastard"...everyone else ignored me

I was pleasantly surprised to see Shrewsbury Town send a shirt!!! My best friend and I used to play them in FIFA Career mode because their badge looked like the Alliance crest from World of Warcraft (Before they had to change their logo). How class of them!
