I just recieved a signed card and also shirt from Manchester united today. It has signatures from Casemiro and 4 other players on card and same players have signed shirt too, not sure whos signatures they are, will ask my teenage son when he wakes up and I show him, he will be over the moon as he is a huge united fan but due to illness is unable to go to matches past few years. They also sent a scarf, pin badge and baseball cap. My son has a serious illness and united have a foundation that help make children with serious health issues dreams come true. We are in Scotland so the travel to Manchester for the dream day would not have been possible for my son so they sent these items instead. Very kind club it will mean world to my son

I have been collecting players autographs for a while. My best method always been going to players hotels and waiting there. My second best is to attend training sessions. My advice for anyone reading this is.... IF there is a local fans club in your country (i.e. AC Milan Melbourne Australia) and there is a training session, you are most likely going to have a dedicated section for your fan club at the training session AND players will very likely going to come to that section and take photos and give autographs with ease.
The experience is amazing and I encourage every football fan or autograph collector to try these 2 methods and I am sure you will not be disappointed

Hi David. Chinese Super League teams, similar to J. League teams in Japan, hold open training sessions, where fans can get items signed by players and/or coaches. I got my shirt signed by Fabio Cannavaro when he was coaching in China.

I send letters to Hungarian football clubs and I got answer from six different teams (I have a video about it). Some clubs send signed cards, but the Újpest FC players signed my own letter. And last, but not least the ETO FC Győr send me a pretty cool flag with the autographs of the players.

I send letters to every bundesliga club four months ago and I received from all of them apart of FC Bayern (Here in Germany we call them FC Bauern) something back.
But some clubs dont send handsigned autographs but its still very cool from clubs here in Germany 👍🏻

Today I just got a printed Autograph from Newcastle and its pretty cool. I used this way to send it and it works very good.

About the eredivisie training point, my favourite German club VfB Stuttgart actually does this too. They held a public training before covid like every week to month. You could just come and watch the training and after the it either the player came directly to you at the training place or you wait a bit and after the training you could wait at the parking lot to collect autographs on items or sometimes cards

I got plenty of autographs from other teams though, mostly being bundesliga clubs
Some still send, provided you are patient enough, but due to the high request volume most of the clubs stopped sending anything

Hi can I ask if it is compulsory to send a self-addressed envelope together with the letter to every club for them to put the cards or can I just send the letter and then they will provide the return envelope because I live in Singapore and I cant find anyone who sells foreign stamps?

The hand signed ones are gradually written in large marker, with the printed ones in pen.
