I find a big difference. I love the Adidas player version/authentic version much better because of the tails on the bottom hem. I have some of both and the fan version/replicas aren't bad but I like the details on the player version best.

I normally wear medium everything, and if football jerseys I wear a medium for both. The medium Nike fan version was HUGE on me. I'm contemplating buying a long sleeve player version Barcelona jersey from this year but I don't know if I should get a large or a medium. With Adidas, I always wear medium player version, but I don't know about Nike. Then, to make things more confusing, the new style of Adidas jerseys like at the world cup and the ones that will be worn by clubs next year, I bought a med PV Argentina jersey and it was so tight I had to sell it. I just could NOT wear it. The jerseys from roughly 2015-2019, a medium has some space in the Adidas PV, then with theore recent style from 2020-2023, the medium it's tighter and now the new style they are too tight. Why can't they just keep the shit the same? It's ridiculous.

I found that if you flip the PV jersey inside out and wash it on delicate and let it air dry, it works perfectly!

does it really make that big of a difference between the two jerseys perfomance-wise? I've been playing football all summer in the sun and most jerseys I have worn from Adidas (Climalite-Climacool-Aeroready, I've tried them all) make you feel like a cake baking in the oven. A simple cotton t-shirt from a Chinese market priced 2 euros is a lot more comfortable.
They don't really make a difference in performance wise. If you feel comfortable then it's all good.

@ZANNON authentic its way different material and feeling, tight to the body it feels like you are touching womens tights extremely stretching and goes with the climate, i order 1 size up im L so XL, cuz it would show your body figure 😅, but if you are fit go with your size, like if you never got an authentic jersey ill would say buy one, replica it gets hot and personally i sweat way more cuz of the material is not breathable, authentic are more collectable.
