You know, watching this I think I finally have pinpointed one of my big problems. The FAC. How can you know when to use it? I think I struggle so much trying for effects like this cause I default to the color socket.

There’s no right way to fac. Just fac til it looks right. If you fac off you’ll never know.

~ SLIPPY - Would adding a SubD modifier work the same as only subdividing the mesh? or Why Subdivide a meh rather than SubD Modify, is there an advantage?
