Great review - Got mine 2 days ago. I recommend adding an edge cleaning feature, and ability to move to different levels of the house and recall the map from that level. The ability to circle an area with your finger on the map to spot clean would be another cool app feature. (Can be simulated by adding virtual walls, then removing them later) Other than that, I think it is great so far.

We have had our Wyze Vac since just before Christmas. We love it. I agree on the thinking you are clean and then running the vac and being surprised at how much it picks up. The only issue we have had is with scheduled cleanings of particular rooms. It starts cleaning the room it is in instead of going directly to the room I had scheduled. I took would like a room editor. Good review.
excellent real world review....good to see that it pushes things out of the way and doesn't get bound up by things we normally wouldn't just leave in it's way....on the waiting list right now....nicely done.

This was one of the very few Robot Vacuums review videos that I've seen where the actual noise of the machine was included. I think that I had sworn off Robot Vacuums, because I could never get a direct idea of real-life situations, from a review
They definitely aren't silent, but still not nearly as loud as an upright vacuum. There are also three different suction settings, the higher suction the louder it gets. I've been running mine on the highest setting and you can still hold a conversation while its in the room.
From what I've seen it seems that it can't be beaten for the price vs performance. I however already have two Roombas. One for the 1st and another for the 2nd floor. However, there is a basement that could use its own vacuum vs me walking a Roomba downstairs whenever I remember to. Seeing as I will not be able to stomach spending 600 or more bucks for a dedicated vacuum for a floor that nobody spends any time in this seems to be a good choice. The only issue is the usual stock issues that Wyze has with their products.
I've seen someone compare it to the Xiaomi Mi. Other then the charging station they look identical. On Amazon the price for the Mi is around $350. I was also concerned about the room editing. But to be honest I never read the instructions. After playing with the app a week later I noticed that option. I might have missed it or they may have updated it because this Vac has already had three updates. That's what I like and dislike about Wyze.
I never leave things on the floor like in this video..but if your house is cluttered and messy and you want a robot that will avoid common household items that are left on the floor...as well as dog waste, the Roborock S6Max would be a good choice with its AI and camera to detect items left on the floor...this Robot is more like the Roborock S4..except the Roborock has a better app...the Roborock is a better choice because of that.
@@DoItYourselfDad I figured it. Just needs a hard pull. No tools. Just grab two of the three wings by two fingers of both hands close to the center and pull it. Practice makes perfect.
My galaxy it will not hook up called them called my internet everything. Wifes old apple phone hooked right up.that only thing that sucks.our irobot no problem on my phone or hers

Love the play by play while the bot navigated the obstacle course. You should do multiple bots back to back doing that. Have a little throw down

Great vacuum! Problem Wyze does not sell replacement batteries! If your out of warranty and your battery goes south your robot will be a door stop!

Hi, anybody knows how to remove the edge brush if it needs to be replaced? Seems like it snapped there forever.
It takes a good hard pull, getting under it with a flat screwdriver or a butter knife will help.

How easy it is to take all that hair out around the roller?
Not hard at all, it comes with a little tool to clean the brush.
Damn thing is pretty loud...It's 2021 not 2015. By now Robo Vac dock can suck dirt from the pan.
No louder than any of my other robot vacuums.
