I enjoyed this short and wished it continued to a full length movie. It's always easy to Monday morning quarterback a characters actions, but overall I liked this. Thanks

These two characters would never survive more than 3 nights in minus degree weather. Their "camp" is a disaster, their clothes are shit and they cannot wear it orderly (girl's coat always open) and their "sleeping" as ridicule as a gorilla on the North Pole.

Not half bad. The first girl is a pretty good little actress. Yes, we all saw the other boxes that he didn't go back to. Also, what would it hurt for him to keep the remote control he found. Might come in useful. But, I did like it and would like more episodes.
Really well told story-the horror of having o kill another human being, the conflicts of relationships and the fragility of life are all represented and explored. Good job.
Kudos to my fellow Manitobans! Not badly done, guys! I watched the first part of this and rather enjoyed it. The landscape was suitably bleak for this story, too. When I saw "With thanks to Pembina Valley..." in the credits of the first short, I *knew* you guys had to be from my home Province, and then it was confirmed with the credits in this one! 🙂 One *major* inconsistency, though: the characters said there was a "cure" on the ship that was hovering in the sky throughout the short, and they did manage to make it to that ship, in the end. So, what happened, there? That doesn't get explained in this one, and it probably should have been, or at least have it hinted at why they didn't stay with the floating hospital. Obviously, rumours happen in disasters like a global pandemic and shit goes wrong, as *is* hinted at midway through when the two meet Taylor, and people can get incorrect info, but we never learn why they left the hospital ship. Did shit go South, there? Riots? Raiders? Some kind of other bad crap happening that maybe should have been seeded into the plot, even a little to flesh things out a bit? In any case, not a bad go, people!
I was thinking the same thing. There's quite a gap there. Even something as simple as when she mentioned Rama and a cure, he could have said "yeah, we've hear that before, it wasn't true then either."
Well done!! I really like the characters, and the story flowed very well. A tiny bit of constructive criticism: A couple of times when Cal got up at arms and raised his voice, it didn't seem to have quite enough heart in it. That's really the only thing I think you could improve though, truly a great production! I would absolutely love to see a 2nd part!!
This was quite good although the guy wasn't very believable, the girl was good. I just don't see a guy like that convincingly throwing his weight around, you can see why the girl never seems to do what he says. The one thing that was really off was that noise when the girls looked at the photo. I don't know why but it triggered a migraine in me. I think you should change it because if it did that to me you don't know if the frequency could trigger fits.
The mark of a good film is when you want it to continue, This is one of them .When one wants to know if the cure really exists, or the young Russian girl will eventually go the same way as the woman and he has to end it. Is he immune? Does he have the cure within his Genome? Where are they heading? So many questions unanswered.
This should be turned into a full length movie! Or atleast do a part 2 of it. Pleasssseee. Love the actors , love the whole vibe of it, great work. Plz make a sequel or something. Make it a series. Idc. Something. Hollywood should eat this up

The woman's eyes moved in that last shot. It started out fine but it wasn't satisfying because for one thing the ending was so abrupt. It could have been much better. There was talent involved in making this film, but I don't understand why anyone would put the time and effort into making something that, in my opinion, is incomplete. It really could have been a good film had the story gone on a little longer. I also don't understand why, in every situation, the girl is left to do the shooting. It's understandable when the guy is scavenging because someone has to be the lookout. But why the rest of the time?
