  • Brian Finch and Kenny Henson were South African artists who performed as a duo for many years.
Brian Finch started off as a folk singer in Durban in the 1960s, and between 1973 and 1974 he worked in England and Amsterdam, returning to South Africa at the end of 1974. In 1977 he teamed up with Kenny Henson to form the duo Finch and Henson. They released several albums, and were extremely popular on the pub circuit, before splitting up in 1981 (although they got together from time to time to record new material). Brian Finch settled in Prince Albert in the Western Cape but continued playing the pub circuit until he died of cancer on 19 May 2019, aged 71.
Kenny Henson (aka Ken E Henson) started off with Leeman Ltd in 1965, moving on to Freedom's Children in 1966, Abstract Truth in 1970 and then to London in 1972, playing with Daddy Longlegs. He also did some session work with Roger Daltrey and Leo Sayer. He returned to South Africa in 1974. He passed away on 24 May 2007.
Finch and Henson played as the supporting act to Rabbitt and 5000 Volts on their South African tour in 1977. They split up in 1982, but occasionally got together to perform and record new material.
This song was released on 7" single in 1978.
