I'm 65 years old now. I was 17 and riding the roads of North Charleston, SC, in my new 1972 Dodge Demon, when I first heard this song . I knew it would be a hit when I first heard it . Gosh how I miss that time of my life and the great music of the 70s. RIP Mr. Nash .

My second son, born prematurely,. was touch and go at birth. After several anxious days he pulled through but needed to remain in the neonatal care for couple more days. Leaving the hospital after getting the news he was going to make it I turned on the car and this song was on the old AM radio.

I know what depression is like & how bad it can get. Thank GOD iam always able 2 pull myself up & out of it. Sometimes I think of people that cant get out & I say a prayer 4 them 2 have... (Mental Clarity) 2c that depression is an illusion. It's a faults feeling it's not real even if it feel real. Water is a neutralizer go swimming take a long shower or a long bubble bath & drink lots of cold water. Then smile take a deep breath & laugh cuz it's all an illusion. My youngest brother had this song listed as the one track that was to be played at his funeral service.
He died two weeks ago, 21st October 2020, from an internal heamorrage caused by Esphagal Varices. He was only 46 years old, far too young.
