Absolutely beautiful. God saves people. I had an alcohol issue for years. I cried out to the good lord for help. I have never had a drop of alcohol since. Praise the lord.

I just found them on YT too. Using the YT algorithm, the Lord does work in mysterious ways, LOL. Although I've heard this hymn a million times, I was struck by the next lines in that stanza:

Probably the best known song of salvation and grace. Written by a former slave ship captain and drunkard turned gospel preacher. It reminds me of the man that I was before Jesus Christ came into my life and saved me. I can’t tell you how happy and excited I am that the Petersens have performed this classic of God’s love and grace!

Love it! This hymm has special meaning for me also. Back in 1964 when I was in elementary school 4th grade, every morning before class our teacher had us recite the Pledge of Allegiance and then we sang Amazing Grace.

It's a excellent rendition of Amazing Grace. That was July 29th which was my wife's 61st birthday and sadly enough is also the day she passed away. So it was fitting to hear this song on that day because now she has gone on to be with the Lord. And I want to thank all y'all for singing this song on that day.

I’m currently away on a mission trip, in Paraguay, “working on a building, working on a building, working on a building for my Lord, for my Lord” and ministering to school kids (in the public schools). I’m tired, weak, and worn, so being able to hear you do this beautiful hymn is fuel for my soul. Thank you for continually being a blessing to me!

I love the Petersens! So many of the their videos are masterpieces to me, and this one is my favourite yet! As I listened to the opening guitar solo I started to feel the emotion of this song and I started to tear up. I am a 58 year old guy, avid golfer, sports fan, etc. and I am not the emotional type (starting about 50 years ago, I basically stopped shedding tears). So, when music can stir me deeply, it is an extremely rare event. Thank you so much for this truly beautiful performance. 🙏

My preacher and his wife saw you perform this in person a few months ago... These folks have heard gobs of renditions of Amazing Grace in their lifetime, yet they said this was the best one they have ever heard.
Tonight, a very dear person gifted me the Ozark Mountain Home album for Christmas. I listened to the entire thing in my bedroom, but when it got to Amazing Grace, I had tears welling in my eyes. This song and your band are undoubtedly a tool God is using. First of all, no other musicians have ever hardly moved me to tears. Second of all, few are so humble in their work as you are. That makes every note resonate more. And third, to hear so many voices, from so many different parts of the world and so many different walks of life, come together to praise the one true God, is so beautiful I can't even describe it! And to know that I am one in those hundreds of voices is just amazing! What a privilege! I pray the whole world can have a chance to hear this song right here! And yes! I am awaiting the day when the believers let it ring out through heaven!

I had mixed emotions listening to this song. My grandmother, who went to be with the Lord a few months ago, would play this on the piano every time I went to visit her. I know she is in a better place but I miss her every day.

When you hear Emmett playing the dobro so magnificently at the beginning you just know that this is going to be one very special version of Amazing Grace. I have watched this video many times before making a comment as it’s one of the best covers that I’ve heard in a long time. The Petersons have covered so many beautiful gospel and country songs in the past but this has to be near the top. Thanking you so much for this video.
