I'm sitting by my dad's bedside as he is struggling to take his last breaths. He loves your music and I couldn't think of a better way to send him off to Heaven. Thank you and God bless!
My prayers for you and your father in this difficult moment. I think you just gave The Petersens one of the biggest compliments they will ever receive.
@Denise Behary all my solidarity whit you and your father 🙏🏽
God give you strength, he's been busy the last couple of years...❤🙏🏻
Peace be with you, your family and your father.
😢
Hi from the Czech Republic, Prague! See what worldwide impact your music has! ❤
I am 81 years old. Your music makes me so happy. I'm so glad you are on the planet. Gary from Indiana.
I recently "found" You, The Petersens, on CZcams, looking for an old Dolly Parton tune. I look forward to tell you the full story, visiting all of you in Branson, when soon visiting my Danish relative, Annette i Pennsylvania. And since then, "you guys" have fascinated my spirit, bound my soul and made my body dance ... and this way made a total happy I ...
What can we say, guys?! That's a high performance!
I shared this on my facebook page. It's a rainy day in New Mexico and a bluegrass concert is the perfect way to spend a rainy saturday.
I never regret coming to their live show in Branson, rather I’m planning to drive 18 hours just to watch them again-live.
Doing songs like Bohemian Rhapshody unplugged like this is amazing!
Absolutely top notch! But I was bummed when the intro to “Bear Tracks” was just a joke. We’re still waiting, Julianne! 😁🤣😉
You all are so inspiational. I've never been to church except for 1 wedding. I want to. You all, I'm guessing siblings? Mom in the back. You have inspired me more than I can comprehend. You are all sent from God I believe. You are all Angels. Thank you for your gift! I'm watching you now, and I am amazed
Which church did you choose, friend?
Is anyone shocked that this concert has ONE MILLION views?
I'm not.
Fabulous set.
I'm from Mexico, whenever I start listening to one of your songs, I always end up listening to you for hours, it's your music, your naturalness, your freshness, authenticity, your unique voices, I don't know, it's a delight to listen to you
New stars at the country sky: No doubt, youre girls and guys living this music! Greetings from Berlin, Germany.
Das ist weder Country noch sind die Petersons neu im Geschäft ;)
I love the break in Julianne''s voice I could listen to her all day long.
Totally agree, her voice is amazing, so unique!
once again I will say that I love how the banjo sister always looks admiringly and adoringly at her siblings, with sublime joy
Yah. They all do that though. She’s just a little better at it smile 😀
Ellen has a beautiful soul. It shines through in her music and stage presents.
Having a bad day? Just listen to 'The Petersens' and the day immediately 'brightens'! Thanks for your beautiful music!
My wife and I saw them in concert in Branson just before Memorial Day weekend. Not only was it a great concert but having them talk about their faith, as did Clay Cooper, made me realize that here in the Northeast we don't do that enough and I've made more of an effort to do so since. Too bad I can't play music or sing like they do!
You all need to get to the Grand Ole Opry...enjoy listen to you all.
huh?
Thank You Petersens - a ray of sunshine in a dark world around us!
The sisters have such a presence! And Emmet is just outstanding no matter what you throw at him.
It doesn't get mush better than this, Yes Folks "The Best of American Country Music".
It's hard to pick Julianne's best lead but "Wade in the Water" always brings tears to my eyes.
love it, this country bluegrass, and without amplification, gets me good. Well done Guys, Excellent
emmett knocks everyone up a notch and takes the rest of us w him
I dont think Ive ever heard a better dobro player.
Youare so right.
ME: Hey Siri - What is the definition of talent?
SIRI: There are several definitions. The number one definition is: The Petersens
Nice one!!!
And what a pleasure to have their concert pop up on CZcams
The Best Ambassadors representing the True American Culture! G-d Bless!
For once the algorithm brought something good! Great family great moving concert
It's amazing how different each of them sing and then sing together, the harmony is great. That's the sibling factor that can't be duplicated.
So True, Lew
@@jimmyruger7529 YES, It IS true, And they lift you when you're feeling blue too, Lew.
@@keebearfull True to you Lew, who knew? New loo.
Lew.
they will prolly write a song with group of comments LOL
Whenever I listen to your music, I feel at peace. There is much disruption in my heart, my soul... your music helps me find peace. Thank You
Hi from Scotland! I love this band. I've been on a 2-day Petersens binge. Get it Mama! ❤
I just love this family so much. Whenever I'm feeling a bit homesick for the days long past, I can listen to the Petersens and go back home again in my mind. Thank you so much.
Ellen's dress with that banjo is so classy. Anything Katie leads is gold.
I am blown away by this version of Bohemian Rhapsody, what a great end to a great concert.
What a talented family where everyone can sing!
We can all sing......mostly not very good!!!! I still give it a go now and then.......
the person on the right with the seal guitar - master player never heard better in my life ..
It is a dobro, and I agree,he is very talented
Never heard of a seal guitar
Our Dear Lord blessed this family with a touch of Heaven ,so much talent, beauty, and class !
A non-existent fairy story character had nothing to do with it - it is talent through training, skill, and practice, with a little genetics. No magical sky man gifts people with anything.
@@blakeljotr5756 One man's "Fairy Tale" is another man's Faith.
I like how Matt teases his sisters.
Mama Petersen keeps the beat like a boss!
Julianne was incredible on Wade in the Water. She's a Star.
What a wonderful voice.
I love her voice, it's so different but yet superb
'Bear Tracks', aka 'Ole Slew Foot', an old Johnny Horton bluegrass song from the late 50s (though bigger, his was a cover, with the original artists, Jimmy Martin and the Sunny Mountain Boys, releasing it a year or two earlier).
Julianne covered it when she was 12 -- absolutely adorable!
I've never once considered a trip to Branson, but knowing that I could catch a show by this ultra-talented group would make that trip one worthwhile endeavor.
Been there, done that! It’s great!
Agree with Antonis Valamontes that The Petersens are the best ambassadors representing traditional American folk music and culture. Amazing vocals & harmony, fantastic strings play. Love your version of Bohemian Rhapsody and Mamma Mia. Thank you The Petersens and God bless.
Just Lovely.
Even if you are not a fan of Country music this family music band just make you love it :-).
Your parents should be very proud of you
Carolina in my mind by Katie is a piece of art. Fantastic. I get so immersed in her voice.
Every person in the group have such beautiful talent,,,But I truly could listen to Katie sing and play all day..
Julianne has the best singing voice I've heard in years.... maybe decades. What a treat to hear her.
wholeheartedly agree!
You can tell by the comments that they bring a lot of happiness to the world.
This is one beautiful family and adopted brother Emmett is a fantastic addition. I have seen Jerry Douglas live with Alison Krauss and let me tell you, that Franz boy can play him some dobro!
If I were to characterize the singing voices of the three sisters in one word I would say:
The Power, The Sweetness and The Spice.
All three together results in: Perfection.
Frank I agree with you. That's a great description of these sweet ladies
1 million views. That speaks volumes. Very happy for you guys.
I have heard a lot of bluegrass music in my lifetime and you are are most definitely a top notch progressive bluegrass band. It makes me feel good to see your band keeping this alive . Don't ever stop this beautiful music and singing
Got me all excited Matt... Julianne you're gonna have to sing Bear Tracks now!
Katie's version of the James Taylor song was impeccable.
She is my favorite if I had to pick one ,they all are exceptional
I’ve probably watched this video dozens of times just to see this amazing performance of “Steel Rails“ by Katie.
Hats off to The Petersens! Do God bless the family! Thank you so much.
Your arrangement of Wade in the Water is very cool…. That break down in the last verse is classy!
Great performance! Katie takes my breath away when she plays that fiddle, sings and smiles!
I just learned of your band and I am blown away at your talent. Great concert....keep up the good work.
Wandering around CZcams and i found gold again🙂
I'd like to once again say thank you to the Petersens. The whole band together makes a performance that is unique and refreshing. Very talented people
Just think - If we can feel the Petersens’s music in our souls, listening and watching here, just imagine the vibe you get seeing them live. Every gig, wether in Branson or on the road, they are genuinely interested in talking to and interacting with as many fans as they can. Wonderful people. Kind and caring. Love them!!
You guys knocked it outta the park with Bohemian Rhapsody!!!!!!!!
Rhapsody.......brilliantly done.......
Every voice is great, but Julianne has the most unique voice over all. Phenomenal and anointed...old-school blue grass at its finest!
So true!
Agree on most unique, but Steel Rails was marvelous and deserves more recognition - Katie's voice continues to grow and get even better. Ellen's voice has always been the most polished, but Katie is strengthening that.
Even people in pro bands keep working on things and getting better. Inspiring thought.
Thank you for the amazing music.
Watching from Brazil 🇧🇷 You guys are so incredible talented, and a family role model!
Thank you Petersens for all the joy & happiness you bring with so much generosity! Stéphane, Mouvaux, France.
Thanks for thinking of us over the pond, I usually love my rock music, but you guys bridge all music styles, love from the UK
It was so nice to take our group of friends to see The Petersens in Branson a few weeks ago. It was also nice to see Katie at her church in Branson seeing with others on stage. I was encouraged and surprised to see that also!
Yours is the most talented and beautiful family I can imagine. Thank you for your contribution to the enjoyment of so many people. Namaste!
A family with harmonic sound. Easy and beautifull.
I live in Belgium. I recently discovered your fantastic music performances. I am completely overwhelmed by the immense love you show for each other. It moves me every time.
Keep showing your love. The world needs it.
If you like this kind of music come on down to Missouri. On any weekend you can go to a local country show and see this type of music. Some of it is played and sung by people who can't read a lick of music but can move you with their talent.
I am a Belgian. It is alright to come to Missouri and hear them live. It is alright to go to Nashville also.
@@robertlytle5574 It is not so much " this kind of music" but the Love and joy they are spreading...
That is a pefect way to put it actually. Perfect.
One of the finest yet under-rated Christian bluegrass bands around.
That " wade in the water" was awesome, really captured a mood in that one. Julianne has a great voice and it goes so we ll with the whole tone of the song.
All have lovely voices and are talented musicians. Really enjoyed this concert.
Watching from New Zealand, well after the live stream, cows to milk 240 of them! Love your music and voices.
I hope you have help!
Jesus, milk Roboter?
Wade in the water is just her song. Voice tailord for that. Can't tell exactly why. I guess thats exactly what makes it so great.
Amazing performance and harmony!
Sensational all round. Everyone is fantastic 😆👍
If Julianne ever realizes how good she actually is, she will be unstoppable.
She will be so popular in the next few months.
Yeah she's come a long way...
Since she went off to college she seems to have matured a lot.
The key is in the not knowing ;)
Thank you all so much. Just wonderful as always. So funny when Matt announced "Bear Tracks". I'd still like to hear it Julz!
Energetic members of the family bring people good performance and sweet singing. Thank you very much!
Katie has such a pretty singing voice.
I am just so blown away by their talent and synchronicity. They have to practice their you know what's off to get that good in their harmony and blending of their talent. Also, they recognize that every person is a part of the team and there is no "one" lead. They all lead in their own way... Just fantastic.
Love this sweet family band! So talented and clearly they all love Jesus and love each other! I love how they tease like regular siblings! Too cute and funny!
Taking on 2 incredibly difficult songs (JT and Queen) and performing flawlessly… standing ovation 👏👏👏
God bless you ! Your music is so joyful. Thank you so much
We loved your version of "Going To Carolina In My Mind", Thanks
That was wonderful. Time for bed... (tuning in from northern Thailand)
God bless you guys!
I just can't get enough of your music. Thank you and God Bless!
I ❤️ your super duper musical family!!!Just beautiful all of you! and the Songs!
Wade in the Water was so good. Also, I never thought I'd hear Bohemian Rhapsody performed in a blue grass style. What a welcome surprise. Your band should have millions of fans. There must have been 50 different countries listening.
A new star is born: Julianne Petersen
@@peterreuter7270 , she is incredible. I love her voice and just watching the joy in her face is a blessing. We are going to Branson June 2024 and we will be going to their show. I can't wait.
Great show! I love how it ended with a "standard traditional country tune"!😁
It was a pleasure to meet y'all in july at your show!
God bless
The Best version on Carolina On My Mind out there. Thank you Kate, we here in NC love your version!
Ok young folks, I have been lurking in the background for over a year. It is time for me to properly thank you for some wonderful music and many hours of fine entertainment. You are a very talented bunch and the young ladies are just cuter than a bug's ear. I wish you all the best in the future. edit: I am gonna bet that Freddy Mercury never envisioned a mandolin, banjo, and dobro in Bohemian Rhapsody.
I am so glad I found you all, thank you for all the beautiful music 🎶🎵...
Gooday from Aussieland Petersens!! the best thing about this 32mins of absolutely amazing music is that i can relive the goodness for as long as i live simply by clicking the button. Thank you each and everyone of you for making my live so very much richer in these poor worldly times.
Two things I enjoyed even more than every other second of the concert - 1) the arrangement of bohemian rhapsody was BOLD and thoroughly enjoyable. I wish I could have seen behind the scenes just how that arrangement came together! 2) the Mamma Mia performance / arrangement was simply fun to hear and watch. It was nice to hear the three sisters harmonize!
I’m in love with this family and their beautiful voices and talent. ❤️👏🏼🇺🇸
My father-in-law Bud Parish lived with us 7 years until he was called home. When I found you on You Tube and shared your music with him, you brought much joy to him. He was an old time bluegrass guitar and bass player. He listened to you everyday.
