This almost takes my breathe away! As my. Dear Sweetheart of Sixty-Two years was taking her final breathing cycles, she asked that I play “Amazing Grace” on the piano, as this was her favorite gospel song ever! She always loved the hymn more than any other! God…take good care of Gloria until I m received up there to be with you and her! Thank you Lord!

This is fantastic, this is the only way to praise our God and his only son Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Almost every day before I sleep I listen to this great song, and it reminds me of my father, mother and my brothers who passed on, my their soul rest in peace. Amen.

I'm Mormon but haven't been active for a while and still love and have my faith in Heavenly Father without him I would not be here. I thank Heavenly Father for his unconditional love every day.
I am Presbyterian, Scottish ancestry. My son and daughter-in-law are Mormon. The bagpipes at the beginning of Amazing Grace and the song bring my heart into fellowship with the Lord. This song will be played at my funeral. ❤

My dad loved this hymn….one time I went to his grave, and a man was there at a grave, playing this on the bagpipes. I cried my eyes out. Tonight I remember that, and I remember him….I cry my eyes out again. He helped us to be better….we missed him after he died in ‘85. Especially me. At least that is what I say….the others do too, I am sure.

Same here. I sometimes jokingly say that I am a 'Baptist Mormon'. I also first sang this song in the Baptist Church at about the age of 6. I was baptized into the Mormon Church at the age of 12, along with my family. I am almost 69 now. It's 2023.

Tears fill my eyes every time I hear the beautiful voices of the men and women coming together . It sounds truly like a symphony of angels .
As a believer in Christ as a child growing up I; the west i n d i e s we were told that every Sunday morning we had to go to church and as a Christian believer and a Church of England England believer as I am older now I don’t go church but I never stop believing in god and I try to say and read the bible when I can and when I hear the none believers in god speak I had to remind them that god holds our life in his hands not us and for that song amazing grace every time I hear that song it makes me cry and I can remember some parts of the bible tells us that the angles. In heaven will be singing with harps of melody o what a glorious sound it brings joy to your soul and that’s why I am trying my very best with gods help to do the right thing so that one day I too will be singing with the angles amen

That was beautiful. I love to hear the bagpipes before the singers begin. When my father died in 2007 at the age of 94, I had a man playing Amazing Grace and he wore a kilt. The little town in which my parents had lived last had been settled by Scots and the college there was St. Andrew's and the music department taught how to play the pipes. In 2012, I had the opportunity to visit Scotland along with England and Wales. The people in Scotland were the friendliest by far. My heritage is Scots, Welsh, and English.

Last night we attended the Mormon Miracle Pageant for the last time. This was the last recorded song being played on the loudspeaker before the pageant began. I was leaving the restrooms and was stopped in the street by overwhelming emotion in front of the temple. I wept and wept. The spirit was so strong. The temple was so very alive. The gospel is so true. I love my Savior so very much.

I went to Israel to visit the Holy places...coming into Jerusalem for our first time the entire bus began singing this song....it was Heavenly....and we spent 11 days taking in this Blessed Land...then when leaving The Old City and looking at its beauty for our last time again we sang this song to our Jerusalem....

I keep looking at the men singing and try to find my old buddy from childhood. I just feel he would be into something like this. He is a good Mormon and lived in Bountiful, Utah the last I knew. I know he went there right after his marriage. He would be close to 80 right now. Was my best friend ever I sure miss Brent Anderson.

God is not in every church denomination in the world today that professes His name. He is in the hearts of sincere souls in these churches who chooses to do His will.
It is not enough to claim the name of Christ. Many of these church denominations will not be able to stand in the final day of reckoning. That is why the message of Revelations 14 is so pertinent today--"Come out of her [Babylon]!" Babylon is any system of worship that denies the Gospel and places the traditions of mankind above the Truth.

Almost 69 year old man, this brought tears to my eyes.
This is absolutely fantastic - the music, the visuals, the feeling that accompanies them. This reminds me of my grandparents. I played this piece at my grandmother's funeral and this recording helped me get the right feeling. I'm so grateful for her and grateful that music carries memories. And I'm especially grateful for God's plan of happy endings.
