I had this played at my wedding as I entered the church 52 years ago, but without the vocals. It was so special ❤️
Same!
That’s sounds amazing and epic.
What a great wedding processional !
Having this done as a wedding march would be freakin epic
Thank you
Thank you for presenting this well done piece. I have a lasting memory of seeing the movie in 1965 with my parents and sister.
Simply gorgeous how could not like this when that organ intro starts all the hairs stand up on my back I think that is God given
I've listened to many versions of this, but this is far and away my favourite . The sound of the organ is phenomenal and the orchestra and choir just perfect.
Totally agree.
DEFINITELY AGREE!!!!
Indeed you are absolutely correct !!!
I came down the aisle to this nearly 50 years ago! Played by the organ but minus the “How do you solve a problem like Maria?”
We had to sing the songs from Sounds of music at school until we were sick of them and it was our end of term treat so many times. The nuns (convent school) loved it!
As close to perfection as you can get
WOW ! Fabulous . This video Blew me away ! BRAVO !!
Glorious cover. Beautiful. It’s wonderful to hear it again.
only one word can describe this.. WOW!
My aunty had this to walk down the aisle at her wedding
I’m sure it was epic and beautiful
Outstanding Outstanding Outstanding
This brought tears to my eyes
Amazing, Bravo!!
Totally awesome 👏🏻😁
Absolutely stunning I discovered this over the Christmas holiday and it was on repeat many times in my home thank you
i just love how he included the little miss-key at 0:44 just like in the movie :)
I don't think that was a mistake, in the music it was intentional.
I always thought that was intentional! Like some kind of stylistic dissonance.
Wonderfull
ABSOLUTELY 💕❤️🌹 BEAUTIFUL!!!!
Wow 😍
I've missed Dr. Elliott on the organ. Nice seeing him once again after the chorale concert in Ghana with Celestial Evangel Choir.
MAJESTUOSO!!
Should have heard this live....it was STUNNING!
Just amazing!! The organist, the orchestra and fantastic choir, absolutely phenomenal!!
As always, such beautiful music from the MTC!!
I really like listening this wonderful and stunning piece of music , especially almost final bars of playing, the organist's confident look to the camera !!!
Perfect arrangement
This is just the right tempo, I can't fault it at all.
oh i wanna let this music play at my wedding.. T.T
Me too!!!!😍👑❤️🙏
Fantastic
ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL ❤️❤️❤️❤️!!!!
PERFECT! ❤👏🏻
Richard can take music and orchestrate it in his own way!
This is better than the original
J'adore
Wow Nice music !!! Good
All these beautiful videos with fantastic music, and not one sheet of music! Absolutely fantastic!
Awesome awesome awesome
Блестящий!
我認識這首歌曲,是因為The.Sound.of.music.
I would love to have a copy of this piece. The arrangement is stunning
Of all the instruments at man's disposal I still say the ORGAN is king and rightly so for the organ honors the KING of KINGS, LORD of LORDS forever and ever.
Pax+
Classic wedding scene from Sound of Music Maria walking down the aisle to meet her groom The Captain.
Love this The MTC are so good funny religion but brilliant singers
This song goes out to my class mate Hannah sharp
Aaaaarghghhhh!!! Why no Confitemini Domino??
When she sat on that ridiculous pinecone .
You are playing it to modern at that time they played very legato amd legatissimo.
The big drum was not in the original recording it was not a turkish drum
Julie andrews and Christopher Plummer as Maria and the Captain.
Well, the Mormon's theology might be messed up, but they sure know how to created good music.
Bad audio mixing. Drums too prominent over singers.
I prefer just the instrumental and the organ. The singing really distracts from the grand processional mood
