Today I am making lemon brownies..These are light,refreshing and very delicious.There is no baking powder or baking soda and the recipe is so simple with few Ingredients.

I thought I was doing something wrong because the preparation went so fast and smooth. I put the batter in the oven and came back and watched the video again to make sure I didn't miss anything. I missed nothing, and I am thoroughly impressed!!! These are delicious and the crumb is just right!!! These are my go-to dessert now. Thanx so much, Full Kitchen!! Will be making another batch tomorrow!
Lemonies! What a cute name - I love it and anything with lots of lemon flavour! Deffo going to make this delightful looking recipe soon. Will be perfect with a nice cup of tea in the afternoon. I always have lemons on hand.

Just finished making these and l know it says to use lemons but l had run out and only had Clementines 😕 for those of you that don't know, they are a small Christmas oranges here in the United Kingdom and they worked a treat 😁 extremely yummy 😆 the downside is that l think that they will all be gone by the morning. My family love them.

@@FullKitchen my batter is stiff .. not al velvety like yours is .. incorporated but stiff.. I used monk fruit sugar so they are diabetic friendly. It’s even exchang for regular sugar and has zero after taste.. it wouldn’t make my batter stiff would it? 😕
@@jadebell550 Sugar isn't only adding sweetness but changes consistency in batter too.

Thank you for this delicious recipe. I made them both, one in Lemon and one in Orange, Oh my goodness, what flavor they had. I used a touch more juice in mine that what you called for in my glaze, they were heavenly.

It's moist i love it, it really shows it's yummy lemon cake.

Made these....so good and easy to make, very moist. I had it with vanilla ice cream "OMG - Bomb" 💣 perfect amount of tart and sweet but I also feel some whip cream would be good awesome w/these. If you like tart and sweet - make these!!! It was gone the next morning. I am ready to make it again but double the recipe for a 9x13 pan.

I made this yesterday. I doubled the recipe and it came out perfectly. Way too sweet for me and my partner, so we handed them out at work. People really liked it.

Easy and tasty. Just very sweet to my liking. Reduced the sugar in the brownies and also halved the icing but still sweet hahaha 😆 will make it again next and further reduced the sugar in brownies
Use less sugar or use other sweeteners like Stevia or agave I put 4 level tablespoons of sugar in a recipe. It's usually sweet enough to be nice instead of sickly sweet

I only have bisquick, would this work with that? Also, only have oil, no butter. What’s your thinking with those substitutions? These lemon brownies look so good. With the Coronavirus, can’t get everything.

Mine didn’t have the same consistency mixing and pouring as your video. Is it because I used softened butter and not melted butter? The recipe calls for softened but I noticed in your video you used melted butter.
If I wanted to make this the day before Christmas will it stay nice and soft the next day or do I got to wrap it up a certain way ?.
They will be fine in an airtight container at room temperature.
When did you add in the butter?

If you are making it in 9×13 glass dish then check after 25 minutes with the toothpick.

The pinholes on the top of the baked “lemonies,” is from over mixing the batter.

Substitute for eggs pls
Melt two ounces of baking chocolate in the butter instead of using any lemon, and you have fudge pie. Oh, a teaspoon of vanilla with the chocolate.

Wouldn’t all that mixing make them tough?
Can someone help me on the usage for each of these ingredients? I tried to convert them into grams, however the mixture came out is way too runny, i am sure something is wrong here. I just do not understand tablespoon and teaspoon and cup, thanks a million!!!!
You might want to purchase a set of measuring spoons, one liquid measuring cup and one set of dry measuring cups.
No need for fancies. Cheap plastic works fine.
I’m not sure of the precise name of the site, I think King Arthur Baking. To the best of my knowledge, this is an American site, so take this into account with the conversions

Just grind regular sugar in a blender/ food processor to make it into a powdered form.

The recipe for the orange and lemon brownies are not the same. The lemon uses two eggs and the orange uses one.

@@FullKitchen I'm just nervous....I made lemon brownies for a gathering tomorrow and I don't like the glaze. (It's already on them). But, every recipe I find has it on them. So I'm thinking maybe it's just me and they are actually delicious to most people...I hope.
@@adriennetorres8028 most of the people usually love glaze..good thing about home made lemon brownies are you can use glaze as you like otherwise store bought have a very thick glaze on them .
