- We make the difficult decision to have the new Let's Dance delivered to us in Turkey in these uncertain times. Tune in as our all girl crew tackle some nasty weather along the Atlantic Coast and Let's Dance is put to the test for the first time.
Thank you Michael and Marita for this fantastic opportunity to deliver 'Lets' Dance"
A very special time for us, thank you.
This is the third time I have watched these fantastic girls deliver your boat, love it 💕
Wow, that's dedication glad you are enjoying it, cheers.
Brilliant, cant wait for part 2 cheers everyone.
Cheers Patrick, the girls did a great job.
Love the update and we have been so looking forward to it. Can't wait to follow all the new adventures on LD 2.
Thanks, Part 2 is in progress and then the plan is for a full walkthrough and intro, cheers.
Watching part 1 again while waiting for part 2. Beautiful yacht. Great delivery crew. It's worth the wait. 3000 nm is a long way in any vessel. Loved the rainbow at 13:00.Best wishes Michael and Marita. Chris
Thanks Chris, Part 2 is taking longer than expected as we have had a few things pop up over the last few weeks. Stay tuned we hope to get it out in the next week 🤞, cheers.
@@LetsDanceSailing Hope all is well then. No rush.Stay safe Michael and Marita. Thanks for the quick reply. AFL Season starts next week Thursday night Richmond v Carlton.MCG to allow 50,000 spectators. Victoria still has restrictions.Vaccines have started. Go Tigers LOL. Chris
@@chrismackie1389 , have been watching the premiere league football to get me through to the start of the season, can’t wait for our first match go the Swannies, cheers.
I could only imagine that You two must be over the moon !!!!!
Pretty shmick ride😎
And what a delivery crew👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 are they not the best👌🏻
Safe travels and all the best wishes!!
Oh Ps . Well done , you’ve nailed editing other peoples footage and telling the story. Job done, knock off time🍻
Outstanding as per usual 😉
Thanks Pauly, this was our first attempt at someone else’s footage and we did find it difficult but it all came together in the end. We are stoked with the boat and can’t wait to share more of her with you, cheers.
I am infatuated with the Elba 45, and this is one of the best videos on CZcams to really show off its qualities and capabilities in blue water. Thank you!
Our pleasure Ba, we are glad you liked it. Stay tuned as we capture how she performs as we cross the Atlantic Ocean, cheers.
THAT...WAS...FASCINATING...AND...THOROUGHLY...ENJOYABLE...!!! 🌟💕😃 Not sure how you do it, but the soundtracks with your videos are always spot on and so much fun!! Thank you so much for sharing!! Can't wait for the full reveal but, meanwhile, absolutely loving the journey!
Thanks Pamela, glad you liked it. It takes about a week to put one movie together so we are not the fastest editors out there but we love the end product. Working on Part 2 at the moment and then planning a walkthrough and intro, cheers.
What made this video was the music.51 knots of wind surfing down those waves at 20.9. All credit to the crew. Looking forward to part 2.Best wishes Chris
Thanks Chris, glad you liked it. Working on Part 2 and hope to have it out soon, cheers.
Awesome crew, brilliant waves and speed. Music was very appropriate, loved it. Can’t wait for part 2!
Hi Ian and welcome aboard. So glad we went with the delivery crew to get the boat to us in these uncertain times, the girls did an amazing job in some very ordinary conditions. Working on Part 2 now and plan to follow with a boat walkthrough and introduction to the new Let’s Dance. Thanks for taking the time to comment, cheers.
Great video - some big seas
Yeah, glad it wasn’t us out there..... sweet profile pic BTW.
Wow... those WAVES...... incredible footage.

Magical progress, great to see you back - and as always - one of the best selections of accompanying music of any channel
Thanks Rodger D, it’s nice to be back and rocking out the tunes again, cheers.
Congratulations guys on your new Let’s Dance delivery. Looking forward to the videos that will follow. Wishing you many years of enjoyable times on her. Fair winds and following winds.............
Thanks Mansoor, we are very happy with her and are sure there will be good times ahead. Part 2 up next and then a walkthrough and intro to the new boat, cheers.

Them some big waves 😀😀😀
Yeah, glad it wasn’t us out there, cheers.
Can’t wait to see your new home. I’ve missed you two.
Thanks so much Ron, we’ve been busy getting her ready for summer but it’s nice to be back editing and sharing our story. Thanks for continued comments they really do keep us inspired, cheers.
Oh! Wow, nice instruments 👍🙂 on a shiny new boat. 👍🙂 and the music continues 😉🙂🙂🙂🙂
Yeah she's as pretty as a picture and we love her already, thanks for stopping by ........ we hope we can keep the music coming, cheers.
Finally. Happy that the Let's Dance Sailing Story is continuing. Missed it a lot! Stay safe and a big Hello to Göcek, where I used to sail myself.
Yes, we’ve been busy getting her prepped for the summer ahead but back into it now, glad you are still aboard. Love Gocek and the bays in the area, hope to sail more of it this summer. Thanks for your comment, cheers.
Boat looks fantastic. Enjoy 😊 love watching the crew delivering your boat and look forward to more YT videos.
Thanks Maria, we are back in the groove. Glad you liked Part 1, working on Part 2 now and will follow with a full walk through and intro when we get the time, cheers.
What a fantastic crew under very trying conditions, plus what a boat, you must be thrilled with her 😄
Thanks John, yes very happy with the boat and pleased we went with the girls for the delivery, they did an amazing job, cheers.
Wonderful photography and videography! Thank you for sharing.so excited for you both! 😄
And thank you for taking the time to comment, glad you liked it cheers
Whoohooo! So good to see the new boat !! You fellas must be stoked!
We are super happy with her, looking forward to spending summer out and about, cheers.
Wow!!!
Congratulations on the new cat and I’m so happy for you guys still sailing while the rest of us hide in Oz.
What a boat!!
Brilliant
Thanks
Thanks Bruce, yes she’s a beauty all right we love her already. Covid numbers are going crazy here, best place to be is on a boat ⛵️, cheers.
@@LetsDanceSailing we are pretty damed lucky in Queensland COVID free
@@nurseae Australia has done an amazing job, likewise NZ. Things are improving over here now and vaccines are rolling out quickly, we’re hoping for the best, cheers.
“Absolutely outstanding video”..so much admiration for the sailorettes..I can see why you had full confidence in the crew & not a worry in the world.
The reality of that storm made me feel seasick!..whoever put this vid together (editing) great job.
Hope your both well Marita & Michael..as you would know Oz still gripped by COVID-19..then again most countries are.
Looking forward 2021..what an unbelievable boat!!!
All the best from Aussie Mick..
Hey Aussie Mick, nice to hear from you again. The editing credit has to go to Marita, her skill level has well and truly left me behind in this department. Both well, working hard to get LD ready for the summer, hope to share some of the works down the track. Looking forward to getting moving again but with this part of the world in lockdown, not sure in which direction we’ll be going at this stage, cheers.
Congratulations on the new boat. She looks great and capable.
Thanks so much, stay tuned for the walkthrough and intro, cheers.
So happy for you guys that the new boat arrived. Looking forward to the mods and sailing videos continuing.
Thanks Ivan, working on Part 2 of the delivery and then we plan to do a walkthrough and our mods, cheers.
That looked like a miniature baby Elba was placed in a washing machine and filmed. OMG I got sea sickness watching my TV screen. That delivery crew is on fire!
They did an amazing job, that’s for sure. We were so disappointed that we couldn’t leave Turkey to take delivery but after seeing what the girls went through we were slightly relieved, cheers.
Yes you guys are back, and with a new boat!!! Congrats on the new boat, she looks great and boy can she move. Cant wait to see if Mick will exceed the 20.9kts. Looking forward to you guys settling into the boat and setting it up for your tastes.
Unlikely that we will ever push her to those sorts of speeds, been there in the Lucia and its way too fast for us. Setting her up at the moment and looking forward to introducing her more and more as we progress, cheers.
Glad to see your video pop up, missed your unmistakable style. :) All girl crew , why not ? Certainly an interesting voyage so far :) Fair Winds :)
Thanks Darrell it’s nice to hear we’ve got a style 😎. So happy with our new home and very pleased we engaged the all girl crew, they did an amazing job. Part 2 next and then a big intro and walkthrough, cheers.
That was great to watch, I kept thinking how excited you guys must be, I can’t wait to see part 2. Boat is amazing!
Thanks Ian, glad you liked it, it’s nice to be back and yes we are super excited. Working on Part 2 at the moment and then we are planning an intro and walkthrough as we have had so many requests, cheers mate.
Enjoyed watching from the comfort of our warm and dry "home" in the US but definitely getting us itchy for being back on our boat. A great video as always - they definitely have had their share of weather but it sure shows the boat can definitely handle it which I'm sure you know but always nice to have someone else test it!
Hi Janice, glad you liked it. So glad we went with a delivery crew to get our boat here. Now the big job of getting her prepped for summer, it’s been non stop since she arrived but starting to see some light at the end of the tunnel now. Weather here is now calm, days are getting longer and we can feel spring coming on, Cheers
Great video and great catamaran. Happy sailing guys
Welcome aboard Santi, nice to see a comment from a local. Miss the group but we will be back when the work is done and we will be having drinks on board when she is ready to go, cheers my friend 🍻
The Helia 44 has been my dream boat but this baby seems to be up to a whole new level, that helm at night looks like a 747 coming into land at Honkers. The galley looks amazing and she's been blooded by those 4 amazing ladies ( and a bloke with a beard who keeps popping up, the cabin boy?) who are worth their weight in gold, must be absolutely freezing out there in 40+knts. How exciting for you, like moving from an apartment into the Point Piper penthouse, darlings.
Hi Tony, the Helia was a beautiful boat that’s for sure and has been a great seller for FP but you are right, this boat is the next level in many ways. We haven’t had a chance to put her through her paces yet but the girls certainly have and from the skippers report she was suitably impressed. Currently we are fitting some extras here in Turkey and decking her out like that apartment you speak of in prep for the summer, looking forward to bringing more of her to the channel as we go, cheers.
Great video! What lovely crew you had who tested and looked after her!!
Yes we were blessed with a great delivery crew, cheers.
We had an Elba rafted up next to us in our marina for a few days last summer - beautiful. We have a 50ft Cat but the living space on the Elba dwarfed ours. Enjoy and keep the videos coming !
Hi Simon, thanks for your comment. Summer last year. Wonder if your neighbour was Elba #1 - Gordon and Louise Coates. They sailed the boat back to Australia.
Your new home looks amazing congratulations⛵⛵⚓⚓🌊🌊
Thanks so much Tammy, we love her 💕
Love Shania. Oh yeah, congrats on delivery of boat.
Who doesn't love a bit of Shania ? cheers xx
Great video, looking forward to the delivery!
Cheers Al, working on Part 2 now, should be out soon.
Very cool guys, always fair winds!
Thanks guys, still busy getting her ship shape but so looking forward to summer, cheers.
That’s your best one yet
Big call Phillip but we’ll take it, it certainly had a bit of everything, cheers.
Elba seems to be strong made. Good one!
Skipper was very impressed with her performance in very ordinary conditions, cheers.
Congratulations!🎉🐨
Thanks Jen 😘😘
Another great video packed full of interesting and educational content and in our case very relevant as we are planning for our new Lagoon 50 to be delivered to Turkey from the UK early September 2021. Well done you two.
Would it be possible to correspond in a more private way, as I have a number of questions relevant to berthing and basing ourselves in Turkey. Thanks guys..
Thanks Stephen, glad you liked it. Stay tuned for part two when she arrives here in Fethyie, a very exciting time for us. Turkey is a great place to cruise with so much to do and see, a great home for your 50. Happy to chat more privately @ mandmlysaght@gmail.com cheers.
That's a good dodge. Foil wrapping the burner grates to keep them in new condition. In the delivery runs I used to make we were limited to the microwave. Wish I were as smart as you.
Great pickup, we were very impressed with the attention to detail that Veronique went to, to keep our boat in as new condition when she arrived, cheers.
Wow, excellent!
Thanks James, glad you liked it, cheers.
Bravo ,vous nous faites rêver, merci
Thanks Paul, glad you liked it cheers.
Good to hear from you guys again, new boat looks shmick. Still not sold on that lounge up top next to the helm.
We’ll give it a good test run this summer and let you know what we think, cheers.
@@LetsDanceSailing Yo Mick, that Gibraltar Strait ride looked a bit wild eh, though I have to say, I would much rather be there, than stuck in this stupid house.
@@shanevillis4079 true Shane, there are definitely worse places to be at present. At one stage she was surfing 10m seas, that’s about 7 more than we like 😎. Let’s hope that 2021 improves going forward mate, cheers.
Excellent video, thank you for sharing it. It's fantastic that an all woman crew is delivering it. My daughter is an Offshore Yachtmaster and we are very proud of her sailing skills so it is special to see more out there. I also appreciated that the sea conditions were in fact large compared to so many videos that claim heavy weather only to find 25 knots of wind.
It was unusual to see the captain have the engines engaged in full forward when going near dead down wind. I haven't seen this before and wouldn't have thought to try it. What is the purpose? While 20 knots of speed surfing in that type of weather is very fast, if you add the full throttle speed of the engines it is much less surprising.
Hi Sail P, thanks for your comment. We were very happy we went with the all girl crew, they did an amazing job in some very ordinary conditions and the boat arrived with only a few minor issues to be resolved. It’s nice to know there are women out there that take on the oceans of the world and do a great job of it, congrats to your daughter.
In the clip you talk about with the Port side engine in full forward it is being used to control the angle of surf that the boat is being pushed down the face of the wave. In a cat with huge waves from behind you don’t want to be pushed straight down the wave front nor do you want to end up side on, with engines running you can throttle on and off to control that angle of decent. Hope that makes sense, thanks for your comment, cheers.
@@LetsDanceSailing Thanks for the clarification with it only being the port motor. I've been in very large seas a few times and really just relied on my rudders to keep me on course but every captain and every boat has it's own ways. I do think there might be something to using the motor to increase the speed and longevity of the surf though and may try that sometime. Anyway, maybe we will cross paths sometime as we are heading to Greece hopefully in a few months.
@@SailPalarran we hope to sail Greece this year but that may not be possible, we will keep our eyes out for you, cheers.
Amazing yacht 💞💞🇨🇦
Thanks, we agree.
We would know it is Let’s Dance if we were blindfolded. Best music out there! Almost wish I had been blindfolded. Those were some gnarly waves! Eerp... 🤢
Cool comment, glad you liked it. Gota keep those tunes coming 🎵, cheers
As always, great video guys! Awesome footage and definitely felt for them when the weather turned crap....reminded me of our aborted leg - not fun at all! Loving the look of your new home and can’t wait to join you on board ❤️❤️
Your berth is always ready. It’s a bit messy at the moment but we know you’ll look after your side. You’re on starboard duty this time around. Hope the world opens and you can come soon 🤞😘😘
@@LetsDanceSailing as if sailing isn’t confusing enough, now I’m on the starboard side, dont panic If I crap on your side by mistake.
@@planb2bfree993 🤣🤣🤣
Love it!
We’re pretty happy with her as well mate, cheers.
awesome news cant wait till you blokes get going ahrr me scurvy sea dogs up the jolly roger and weight anchor,,,..all the very best
🤣🤣🤣 feeling more and more like old salties as every year passes. Glad you liked it, prepping for summer now and can’t wait to get going again, cheers.
Wow, some awesome footage! Do they have their own channel? If not, they should. I would 100% watch that.
Also, according to the internet, "production cats" can't cross oceans, and definitely can't do 20 kt! Let's Dance must not have gotten that memo! lol.
🤣🤣🤣 on the memo comment, we are very happy with her performance throughout this passage and certainly plan to cross oceans with her. The girls come from all over the world and don’t have a YT channel, you can find them on FB and Insta and the skipper runs Sailing For Women, cheers.
Danish vikings - competent crew :-)
Absolutely, so happy with their work, cheers.
well done from a delivery skipper .
Thanks Bill, we agree Veronique and her crew did an amazing job, cheers.
very good choice. I feel anything less than an elba 45 is too less and anything more is too much more!!
Thanks Yash, we love her and think she will be perfect for us, cheers.
G'day guys, love you & your videos, have followed you for ages. So deffo NOT a troll, but I am curious - we've not left the house here for months (UK), so it's hard to understand how people get to go sailing? In the last vid, folks setting off on vacation (with dog), hugs all round, and the only masks here were the dudes in Portugal. Look, I know the UK have cocked this up worse than most, but it would be good to hear in the next vid about how you guys have swerved the worst of Covid, and how the boat delivery was even possible. Yep, I'm green with envy, but also curious! It's pretty hard to watch folk have their freedom, when we've lost ours - totally our fault, i know. But it'd be good to hear the Let's Dance experience of COVID. Keep up the great vids and tunes... great tunes! R
Hi Kameleonline, good comment, you’ve caught us out. Up until this latest video we have been a season behind in editing, hence our previous vids were before Covid hit. We’ve spent Covid year laying low in Turkey catching up on our editing and to be honest if it wasn’t for Covid we probably would never have caught up to real time. Making these videos is just a hobby for us and it takes a full week to produce each one by the time we source music and check copyrights etc. We tend to take most of the footage during our travels in summer and put the videos together during winter when we have unlimited wifi, so we’re always behind to some degree - if not a lot!
Let’s hope 2021 is kinder to everybody and Covid becomes a mere annoyance instead of a global disaster. It has certainly been hugely disruptive and we’ve had our fair share of lockdowns in Turkey, although not as strict as yours currently are in the UK. We’re locked down from 9pm Fridays to 5am Mondays here and have been since early Nov.
Thanks for taking the time to comment and stay safe. Hope you can get out and about soon.
@@LetsDanceSailing Thanks so much for taking the time to reply! Much appreciated. Makes total sense now... Can't wait to see the new boat. I really liked the Helia 44, so its going to be fascinating to see what the 45 is like. Yes, lets hope we all get the damn vaccine and can get back on the water, and into the pub! Keep up the hard yards on the editing - I know it's a chore, but we all really enjoy them! Cheers.
@@Kameleonline we get our motivation to continue from the number of people that comment, so thank you for touching base, cheers.
This is the first time I’ve gotten a sense of the size of the seas.
You are right Jordy, most of the time the camera can’t pick up just how big they are but this footage really does capture the moment. Glad you’re hanging in there, the finish line is just ahead but fear not my friend we have a new boat and many more adventures to come, cheers.
Brave ragazze!
Agreed, cheers.
Finally 😁. Part 2 tomorrow 😜
Yeah......in our dreams 🤣🤣🤣. We are working on it and should be out soon, cheers.
That truck drive made me nervous. I’m thinking slow down.
It’s amazing to watch, they pretty much have to shut La Rochelle down in part to get these boats in. It happens so regularly the locals don’t even blink when one goes by, cheers.
Is King Neptune ok with 2 consecutive boats having the same name? Do you have to throw your favourite T shirt overboard as an offering of appeasement?
We hope so Greg but just in case LD1’s name has been changed to Unwritten. Getting Michael to throw his favourite T-shirt overboard would be close to impossible 🤣🤣🤣, cheers.
Looks like a great adventure, sadly the audio was terrible….
Yes unfortunately we used delivery crew footage for this one and they are not vloggers. We were happy to have something to work with, cheers.
Thank you for the video but please turn the music down!
Will see what we can do, we do play with the music a lot in production but don’t always get it right, cheers.
What has happened to Let's Dance???
LD1 was bought by a Canadian and he loves and cares for her as much as we did. We are starting our travels all over again on this brand new Elba 45. We are very busy at the moment getting our new boat ready for the new season but we will be bring our adventures to you soon. Thanks for your comment, cheers.
Nice to see the FP handle those seas, but could have done without the aerobics class music…
Cheers Mikael, apologies for the music.
It would be really appreciated if you could tone down the bloody music a bit.
We had to go hard on the music in this one because the background noise was terrible. The footage was all shot by the delivery crew and they didn’t have the right equipment. We truly do take particularly care when choosing and leveling the music. Hopefully future episodes will be acceptable, cheers
Terrible sound leveling / editing.
I gave up watching at 04 min
Hi John, thanks for your feedback. Must confess that our video productions are fairly unsophisticated using basic I Movie and, in this case, footage captured by the delivery skipper and crew without any external mics etc. We do our best with the vids but in the end it’s just a hobby for us. Our family and friends appreciate following our journey and it just happens that others have jumped on board our channel. Having said that, I’m off to google sound levelling using I Movie (which I’ve done previously in an effort to smooth a series of clips instead of each individual one) but haven’t yet found a way that works properly! Cheers,
