When I worked at the Motorcycle Shop back in the 70’s we always did a thorough “test drive” on any three-wheeler that came in for service. The four wheelers hadn’t hit the market yet. Try as we may, we never broke any of those three wheelers.

I just put 150 miles on our 23 Pioneer 700-4 for our farmstead and it's been a blessing. Not having to pull a hand cart with bales of hay in all the rain like we had in California this winter made it worth its weight in gold. Collecting and putting out the temp step in posts for moving the hotwire goes lickity split now too. With the 4 seat all the kiddos get to have a blast riding around on it too.

What I get all the time is "why don't you just buy a Jeep?". As it turns out, I have two Wranglers and two 4x4 trucks. They are not interchangeable!! The SxS treads so much lighter and will fit places even my 2 door won't go.
I never realized I needed a SxS so much until I bought one. There is a reason they have become the modern day farm truck.

Good review! I just bought one at the local cycle shop after our old Ranger 800 Crew bit the dust. It's still at the shop putting a roof on, windshield front receiver hitch and other stuff but I really like it. It's for my 240 acre farm here in Texas and I think it will do the job.

Modern pickups have become too loaded with bells and whistles (not to mention the exorbitant price tag) to make a no frills honest to goodness work truck to beat around in. People around where I live in rural Missouri drive their SxS's everywhere-including my small town. The savings on gasoline and not having to license them is worth it. (The ones with A/C, power steering, heaters, et cetera are the ones that make me ask why the owner didn't just buy a pickup LOL.)

Ride Red!!! We only run Honda ATVs, some only need occasional carb cleaning and wear items. Honda also sells very convenient and cost effective “service kits” including all of the Honda oil, filters, and what you need to do your own services. In total I have 7 Honda four wheelers and a dirt bike for the family with the newest one being a 2004 Rubicon. The rest are way older but still do what they need to for the family, farm, and trails. My goal is to sell and upgrade some of the 2wd to get Honda 4wd four wheelers so we all have 4wd. Other than that the Honda Pioneer 1000-6 or the Honda Talon SxS will be my next new or newer Honda purchase. I wish there was a U.S. manufacturer that could compare to the reliability, functionality, and quality that Honda provides, but there isn’t. Having shaft drive vs belts are a major differentiator. Who wants to have to carry a spare belt with them in case one fails when miles away from civilization? Not me! I hope to start creating informative videos and experiences of our life and progress on our farm in the future. (I would not be trying to compete with Josh) Josh is an inspiration and gives me the drive to make changes. The main similarities would only be that it’s a farm, a veteran, and similar mindset when it comes to care for the animals, preserving and improving the environment. Keep on rocking it, Josh!!! 🇺🇸🦅🇺🇸

Alas it is nearly time for a new one. Nothing wrong with this one. 1785 hours and plenty of life left. Likely go with another mule workhorse. However I am gonna look around. Checking out Honda and Kubota. Thanks for going over machine. Looks like the right fit for SRF.

Another vote for kubota x1100c. Just a great all around smooth operating machine. Hydraulic power steering, limited slip front and locking rear, independent front and rear suspension. The enclosed cab is outstanding! The Honda dual clutch transmissions are very jumpy at slow speed. Even during this video you can see the op head bounce around due to jerky acceleration.

To each their own, but your beater truck probably won't have a dump bed and will tear up the grass and compact the soil wherever it goes.

Definitely a broken toy. Mine took a dump after 300 miles. And honda want warranty it. If you buy make sure your gonna leave it in the garage and not drive it.

not impressed with mine at all. bed squeaks and at low speeds across rough ground its not a comfortable machine at all and extremely jerky. very outdated

hmmm...my roof sometimes creaks, and the bed squeaks if dirty and not lubed....maybe you need to drop a little lithium grease on your dump release latches? Not sure. I agree....the DCT can shift firm, and downshifts whether ya like it or not lol...still a great machine

Way way too much of a Honda commercial. I mean how many times did they require you to say "Honda means quality"?

When I do an unbiased review of a tool, and it's a good tool...then I tell ya..if it's junk...I'll tell ya.....Every time I do a review on something folks seem to think it's a commercial....but it's simply my take on a tool buddy........Honda never asked me to say anything about quality...it's something that I truly believe and that's all there is to it. We've been using this machine for 6 months on the farm and 3 years on the ATVs every single day. Honda does mean quality!

Honda doesn’t make any junk. I’ve been fortunate enough to have acquired a 1983 Honda Shadow, 2000 Honda pressure washer & a 2007 Honda Ridgeline that now has over 400,000 trouble-free miles. I wouldn’t trade any of them for a newer anything… unless, maybe, it was for another Honda.

I have a 2018 Limited. Love the mechanics of a Honda. But, Honda is about 15 years behind the others for accessories. The heater is junk. The cab doesn't seal worth a dam. Cold air comes through the shifter holes terribly. No full windshield that folds up. Could go on about accessories. I can tell you for a fact Honda is loosing a lot of sales due to this. Guess they are too busy designing and building jets.

If you want a Can Am, Polaris or Gator...then get it done buddy. Remember, honda isn't known for luxury or bells and whistles...it's reliability, convenience and dependability. Honda Jet isn't honda powersports my friend...sounds like you need a polaris or something suitable to your climate...or maybe just buy a 4 runner
