Toby Redd Heat Me Woman

Recorded by me at Blenheim High School around 1980.
Originally recorded on Reel to Reel.
Then transferred to 8track :( you can hear the track change
Then to cassette
Then to my computer
Its surprising it is still listenable.
I used a program called Audiograbber and earphone jacks from an old ghetto blaster to my sound card. Unfortunately this tape player was the only one left working around here.

That is amazing! From Reel to Reel then to 8-Track then to Cassette. The tape players must have all been working as good as they could to have it come through as well as it did.

I followed this band, seemingly every weekend of my misspent youth in bars across the Southeast Michigan region, from the time I was 18 through my late 20's. I have never heard this song before. The picture on the video shows Chris (drummer) with the band. So it's not a reach to conclude this was in the beginning of the band? What a rocker. The fact that they were playing this as a High School leads me to assume this was before the A to Z lp release.
