- With Disney reeling from the not-so-shocking bomb of The Marvels, there are rumours floating around that they've abandoned Kang as their main villain and dropped Jonathan Majors from the role. Meanwhile, Sony decided now would be a perfect time to release a female Spider-Man knockoff.

Weird fact: you don’t make movies for women by putting women in them. Turns out women also appreciate good writing
Also beefcake.
Women have no discernment for anything. They don’t care for good writing and they will consume and “appreciate” bad writing. What they succumb to is social sentiment. What other people (in this case, men) like is what they will inevitably like.
Men pay to go see valuable things. They won’t spend money for things of largely low value. So when men support any franchise, women come to back it up not because they can discern quality, but because they follow social norms. It’s not a bad thing, but women are fake fans and only that.
I think the problem is that things like comic books and heros attract predominantly male audiences, regardless of writing.
Theyre barking up the wrong tree trying to "make the force female" and with the msheu.
Nonsense. Women only like cooking shows.
I think it's more girls than women. These movies are clearly aimed at tweenie girls. But the truth is they'd rather watch Barbie than Captain Marvel.
I’ve said it elsewhere, The Marvels has a female director, 3 female writers, and it’s 3 main stars, plus the antagonist in the movie are all female…but only 10% of the people who turned up to watch it were 16-25 year old females, and roughly 32%-35% in total were women!
Men are fed up of being told it’s our fault when these projects KEEP failing!
My daughter is 13 and should be the target audience for Marvels, but she isn’t interested. She also gave up on Ashoka after 3 episodes.
@@JonathanMcCormack The only things I liked in Ashoka were Hayden Christensen, Ray Stevenson and the 2 child actors
Women and people with extra melanin seem to be destroying civilization
It's always amusing seeing women failing to hold themselves up while screaming "we don't need you!" 😂

If the MCU ended after Endgame, hard stop, no continuation, no TV shows, just ended in 2019, it would go down in history as one of the greatest achievements in cinematic history. twenty years from now, we will be talking about how monumental it was. Now, it's a joke. We'll still talk about it, can't deny the impact, but it is now forever tainted by Phase 4 failure after failure.
Exactly. Or if it had ended after Infinity War
Endgame was highly disappointing

They could have waited 5 years and done a reboot with X-Men and everyone would go nuts

The Marvels is a perfect example of the "STOP HITTING HIM, HE IS ALLREADY DEAD!" Marvel is dead. At this point, they are just dismembering the corpse.
Good, imagine marvel being Glenn and Abraham'l as Negan introduced
Lucille to their heads. That's what needs to happen.
Just bury it already, dammit!
Oh Todd. Or was it Rod?

Another fitting Simpson's analogy would be: Iger "how we gna get outta here?" Feige "WE WILL DIG OUR WAY OUT!" Fans: "No no dig up stupid!"
The irony of fans loving Anthony Mackie's Falcon on his own merit, and Marvel deciding to give him the shield anyway.

I’ve just recently discovered “Chuck” and Yvonne Strahowski is such a perfect strong kickass women. She’s a super spy who kicks ass but she has flaws, regrets, feels love, cries. She’s my new hero! Also she’s from my hometown Sydney so I’m very proud of her.
I was recently watching Chuck and thought the same thing! Why can't we have strong female characters like her? Strong, yet sensitive; smart yet caring; sexy yet dignified. She's great!
She's great in The Handmaids Tale too. Such a layered performance.
Who cares?

Wow, imagine if companies like Disney took the time to hire TALENTED people for DEI instead casting them to fit a demographic!
I think he meant to say the Hurt Locker not Jarhead; Jarhead was directed by Sam Mendes

@zacharymcmillan2788 it looks better than madame Webb.
They missed an opportunity to have Charlie Sheen as the villain, Tiger Blood vs Lion Blood: Blood Feud. And then releasing it as a dvd b-movie you see on supermarket shelves. The memes would make it relevant enough to reach Gundam.

In relation to the spiderman 2 discussion, theres a company called Baby Inc that is apparently involved in writing a lot of games to include "the message". They have worked on Spiderman 2 and Alan Wake 2.
Alan Wake 2... yeesh. Feel bad for anyone who dropped money on that.
Also, GoW Ragnorok.
Many films in the MCU have relatively inexperienced directors. I think the bigger issue is the experience of the writers, as well as studio interference. Before, the lack of experience meant new ideas. Today, it means you're just gonna roll over to the studio demands
Yes. That's how they built the system. To minimize the cost of the workforce by diluting the qualifications needed to have such projects. With the streaming explosion, we were already short on the talent to fill up all these platforms, but when you have teh TOP IPs that make the most money consistently deciding to go down this route by hiring amateurs is an idea I'm sure the management was quite on board with. Hiring a bunch of people with no room to negotiate. Discriminating against all others who would go against "the message".
Welcome to over-corporatization
Gundam gave me a flashback, to being with a girl, who you know if she’d just shut up, you’d be fine, but she insists on getting in the cops face and cussing him out, which makes your life and current situation much more complicated.
I think you've unironically described a bunch of Gundam's former girlfriends.
Drinker: "I originally liked Miles because I thought he was a good character with his own story, but because they are using him in this way I see what he represents now and it makes me actively dislike him because I dislike what they're using him for."
This was the whole point of Miles from the very beginning. They were just willing to be patient to get Miles there. I knew what he was, this is why I've always hated him from the start.
I see a rider of culture with the medals 1 2 and 3 has also the same thoughts on me and how I despise miles
MauLer, the Drinker, Gundam and Reaper all talking about the Marvels, this is a dream come true!
Never heard of Camelot but he was great too!
The moment Leto won an Oscar for Dallas Buyers Club because a bunch of dudes in dresses would have beat all of SAG, I predicted this result. It was only a matter of how long we would put up with putting labels and identity before talent and vision.
I swear at this point, these new, modern female series are the only reason Billie Eilish’s music exists.

I think the main problem is that the top people are funded directly by places like Blackrock/WEF to make indoctrination content, so to them making a "prophet" isn't as important, as these guys are all getting paid either way. They infiltrated all these companies with people they have control over. That are loyal to their "agendas" because they owe them for their success, and very likely for not blackmailing them with their evil secrets.

We introduce a whole new character named Mr. White. He is an all-powerful being who can exist in multiple universes, with the exception of the following:
1) He has to recharge his powers/abilities by returning to a casting couch-looking piece of furniture every 24 hours.
2) He has a weakness to women (cuz..that's the whole bullshit rhetoric everything is based on now)
3) He also only thrives in warmer climates, because exposure to snowflakes weakens his abilities to function.

The best Netflix show I've yet seen is "Travelers." It tells a complete story in 3 seasons, but you can very well see how they could (should) have made more!
Interesting. Same premise as La Jetee and its adaptation 12 Monkeys
Camelot trying to be funny is ruining this one. Ugh
Eh I wasn't going the panel this time. I think you needed the usual guests to talk Marvels box office hilarity. I started watching and Dewey Cox talked more than everyone combined continually changing the subject to boobs. He makes even ME look woke in comparison. He makes Ben Shapiro look like Michael Moore
New Doctor Who this weekend.
Cannot wait for the round table discussion following that one!
If gundam is using vtube studio for his model. There should be a setting in the camera tab. If you scroll down to mouth open sensitivity and smile sensitivity, you can mess with those sliders until it works better. Theres also a setting to track sounds from the mic rather than the camera for mouth movements.
He can also go into the parts tab and limit the range of mouth movments too.
But my guess is, he was already doing that while muted.
Open Bar #100 sounds like a pub crawl! Or at least an excuse for one!
Could be in person for the 100 at an actual bar. Would be cool..

'Shaun Of The Dead'
😂😂😂👍
Everything's an excuse for a pub crawl with the guys from the isles.
Here we go, I've been waiting for this, Gundam & Camelot on the same stream?! This may be the best open bar yet 😃
What is this??! A crossover episode??!!
So far they're just a distraction in the discussion
Right, it's really funny how cringe they are, but it gets exhausting real fast.
@@WiVeK13 "discussion" The entire thing is mostly all of them taking the piss. It's fine if you don't like them dude.

I don't know if people have figured it out BUT the real reason the Studios keep Green lighting all these female movies is because Harvey Weinstein wasn't the only person in Hollywood treating women a certain way. It seems like there was a 5 year agreement to green light ALL FEMALE LED MOVIES. There's no other reason for studios to continue to decide to lose money on a lost cause. The budgets for all these films seem like a pay off rather than an investment
I'm a gay guy and Pedro Pascal is not ugly--but he's not super hot either. He's below average by male celebrity standards, but above average at your local Wal-Mart. And it's not just because he's old, because I'm attracted to old guys. I would have sex with Martin Freeman or Ben Mendelsohn (who I've had a huge crush on) before Pedro Pascal. As far as MCU actors, Chris Evans had the best body. Renner, Pratt, and Hemsworth are obviously good looking. Tom Holland is cute. None of them hold a candle to Henry Cavill as Superman in the DCEU.
Pascal just doesn't impress me at all. I have no idea why he's in everything.
