Hello Chase, is there a way to have the FK/IK switch "Match to Pose" when switch IK/FK with Metahuman Control Rig arms in Sequencer? Currently when I switch IK/FK in Sequencer, there is a popping. Is there a way to have "Match to Pose" like in Maya when switching IK/FK? Epic has done a fantastic jobs with the Control Rig tools!
@@hotsauce7124 try setting keys on the whole rig on the frame you switch between FK/IK and it should match the poses…. At least it does on Manny rig..
@@fredriknilsson9950 Hello, Metahuman in 5.4 "hands" do not seem to work with IK/FK switch in Sequencer. Even if I put key frames on all controls. When you switch IK/FK, the hand pops into a different pose. If you find the magic checkmark box to make the hands also work, may I ask you to post the solution? I'm sure Epic has a solution, but I have not found the magic checkmark box.

Stephane, have you tried to render the Dragon? The whiskers have issues during render.

I did encounter this issue ! I tried to disable the whiskers dynamic for that. Or one good solution I’ve tried is to Bake to an Animation Sequence the animation data within the Sequence ! Let me know if it helps 🙌

I really enjoyed today discovering the thing that no baking to control rig in layered animation just like other DCC app but sad Blender is still lacking ( though you could do it through Animation Layer addon) this functionality in built. Unreal is growing in leaps and bounds particularly in Cinematic arena which really justify their new License module for Movie creation.
Completely agree with you ! I really enjoy animating in Unreal now. I’m working on developing an entire workflow within Unreal as much as possible, even for Rigs and weights stuff 💪
Layered control rig is full of bugs and issue. Especially if you start adding constraints. I do not understand why epic games keep releasing broken versions with so many bugs
