- Another excellent book on Druidry! This book features a focus on you, the spiritual seeker, and a juicy flow. I particularly enjoyed the final ritual in the book.

The best ritual I participated in this year involved literally being forced to laugh as a means of raising positive energy to carry forth from
Spring into summer. The priestess of the group I do open rituals with often surprises me with the tactics she uses to generate mirth, and as a result a fantastic sense of ease and community.
You don't hear about using laughter as often to build energy. What an awesome technique!!
Danni Lang I think it goes quite deep. We think of it as merely an expression but it can be a means in itself, and I also think that using a well chosen method to raise energy adds a lot of sympathetic resonance to your work. Especially in a group setting.
Thank you Danni! I appreciate your review.
Ivan was a key member of the Dobunni grove and a central part of the OBOD camps in the UK before moving to the states and starting his own order. He was therefore both influenced by and influenced OBOD. He was larger than life - the Dagda personified. A gentle man, capable of leading others through intense initiatory experiences safely and skilfully. His firewalks and fire labrynths were epic. He is sorely missed, and thanks for the nudge on his book - I must get my hands on a copy.
Hi Danni, thanks for this review, I have seen mention of the Green Mountain Druids before, and I look forward to reading the book. My favorite ritual this year (2019) is the Sphere of Protection, especially the version JMG went over on his dreamwidth blog.
I'll be curious to hear what you thought when you finish the book! Thanks for sharing your favorite ritual. I think this will be useful for others seeking good ideas for their practices.
Oooooh sounds amazing! Dance is a big part of my rituals, too, so this definitely appeals to me!
yeah, dance is such an incredible way to build energy and really tap into emotions propelling ritual IMO. I think you'd love it!
You're killing it with some really awesome videos atm too!
😍 You are too kind!!
Danni... long time Wiccan moving into Druid studies. Ordered a couple books on your recommendations. I one of your videos you quoted a Buddhist monk about interconnection..? Can you give me that quote again for my journal? Thanks
I discovered you fairly recently through Katey (of Katey Flowers), and already my book wish-list is growing a Danni-branch. 😊 🙏
Oh wonderful! Katey is the best isn't she? You should see my TBR list, it's never ending. Lol too many good books!
Hehe yessss 😁❤️
Hey cool, thanks for the kudos.
Been working my way through The Dispossesed by Ursala K Laguin, and finding it a fairly meaty read. She has quite a gift for examining society by creating alien cultures to contrast our own culture with. Definitely thought provoking and worth a look.
Oh and I love how the geese keep trying to get in on the action :)
*gah* the geese were literally at my feet at some parts. They just want to hang out and were confused about why I wasn't talking to them but this weird camera. . .
Hello Danni ! Did you read "The Hedge Druid's Craft" by Joanna Van Der Hoeven ? I'd love to hear your review on that one ! :P
I have not yet, but I really enjoyed Joanna's other books. It's on my TBR list though!
