Red Bean Gumbo:
- 10 oz. beef smoked sausage
- 1/2 pound smoked ham, diced
- 1 (27oz) can Blue Runner creole style red beans
- 4 C. chicken broth
- 1/2 sweet onion, diced
- 1 green bell pepper, diced
- 1 red bell pepper, diced
- 3 ribs celery, diced
- 3 C. cooked jasmine rice
- splash of liquid smoke
- 3 Tbsp. butter/oil (I used both)
To taste
- salt & pepper
- Tony's bold creole seasoning
- minced garlic
- onion powder
- garlic powder
- dried parsley
- dried thyme
- dried oregano
- smoked paprika
- bay leaves
- 3 Tbsp. flour

I like your gumbo recipe because it's simple, I would blend up the onions and peppers because I have a family member who's on liquid/soft diet. I'll just take the meat out of her portion and add the blended veggies with the rest and everyone is happy.
