Such a fan of the two of you - our little families are so much alike, and it’s made me wish I would have documented more of our journey. We were in a similar situation where baby #2 was a surprise. I struggled so hard in the beginning to feel as excited as I was for my first. We ended up having two little boys 19.5 months apart - they’re currently 3 and 4, the best of friends, and the little loves of my life. You two are going to enjoy it more than you even know and seeing baby #2 in Griffin’s old clothes is going to be sweet. Congratulations 💙

“It doesn’t feel like a private place, it feels like a public place” 😂😂😂 this is the most relatable thing she’s ever said. Both my deliveries were at training hospitals so I had a dozen residents in the room each time, plus the regular OBs and nurse staff.
I had twin boys a few weeks after you had Griffin and it’s been such a wonderful experience to navigate new parenthood alongside you guys. I love that you’re having another boy! I hope this doesn’t come across as rude or snarky because I truly don’t mean it that way. But as a girl mom, how is it any different??? My daughter is OBSESSED with me. She loves me so so much and it is completely reciprocated. Our bond is so special and precious. I feel like girl moms are always told how much more special it is to have a son, and that feels like such a slap in the face to people with only daughters, and like we’re missing out on something by not having a boy. To me, it feels like girls are valued less and looked down upon right from the very beginning and it’s heartbreaking

ahhh ive been so anxious waiting for this! I had my first son in Sept 2021 and shortly after started following your pregnancy journey. It was giving me MAJOR baby fever! We found out we were expecting #2 this past Jan and shortly after that you announced your due with #2! We got bloodwork done and found out early it is another boy. I feel like we are on this journey together and it is so exciting. Congratulations!!

Such a fan of the two of you - our little families are so much alike, and it’s made me wish I would have documented more of our journey.
We were in a similar situation where baby #2 was a surprise. I struggled so hard in the beginning to feel as excited as I was for my first. We ended up having two little boys 19.5 months apart - they’re currently 3 and 4, the best of friends, and the little loves of my life. You two are going to enjoy it more than you even know and seeing baby #2 in Griffin’s old clothes is going to be sweet. Congratulations 💙

Aww so happy for you guys! That's exactly how I felt when I found out I was having a girl. I totally knew it and it was just confirmation. My husband was the one who told me, too, and I ran around the house saying, "I knew it!'
“It doesn’t feel like a private place, it feels like a public place” 😂😂😂 this is the most relatable thing she’s ever said. Both my deliveries were at training hospitals so I had a dozen residents in the room each time, plus the regular OBs and nurse staff.

I hope this doesn’t come across as rude or snarky because I truly don’t mean it that way. But as a girl mom, how is it any different??? My daughter is OBSESSED with me. She loves me so so much and it is completely reciprocated. Our bond is so special and precious. I feel like girl moms are always told how much more special it is to have a son, and that feels like such a slap in the face to people with only daughters, and like we’re missing out on something by not having a boy. To me, it feels like girls are valued less and looked down upon right from the very beginning and it’s heartbreaking

I had my first son in Sept 2021 and shortly after started following your pregnancy journey. It was giving me MAJOR baby fever! We found out we were expecting #2 this past Jan and shortly after that you announced your due with #2! We got bloodwork done and found out early it is another boy. I feel like we are on this journey together and it is so exciting. Congratulations!!

Such an EXCITING video Matt and Abby! I have been waiting for this video to come around, and I'm so happy for you guys! 😁 I thought when Matt was opening the card to find out the gender and when Abby was all laughing and almost in tears after looking at him, that they were having a girl.
