Nice pistol. I built twin PF45's. LOVE THEM. I own a Glock 21 as well. I imagine the issue you displayed was from the fitment of the slide stop on the pin. I imagine it will be fine the more you fire the gun. Nice review. Congrats on your new toy.
when the mag is empty the slide locks back automatically so i don’t think that’s a problem… if it does it with a loaded clip then yes you do. but it’ll always stay locked on a empty clip
why are you saying clip? It’s a magazine. There’s no mag in it when the slide lock goes up. If there’s no mag in it, it shouldn’t do that. After using it a bit it stopped doing that. It was just tight from being new parts.
@@jamesbaker1392the retention spring on the slide lock may be bent a little too far or even curled into the pin hole(happened on Me and My Brother’s build)
hey bro,if you remove the bump on the trigger bar sharkfin ,it will run better, just saying,if you try it and it does not run better ,ill send byou a new trigger bar with bump still, try it,nice build though.
Could be quite a few things honestly. Depending on your barrel and recoil spring, the feed ramp may be out of spec, or the recoil spring may not be strong enough to strip a round off the mag. It could even be that your rails are rough and it’s causing binding. Check r/polymer80 for more info
@@jamesbaker1392 Good answer! Straight to the point! Bro is probably an 11yr old, doing his research, tryna figure out the best and cheapest way to source parts and build his pistol 😂

Thank you sir
Thanks Fred Durst 👍🏻
Where did u get the frame?
Semper Fidelis from Texas
What style of slide lock spring is used in that? Is it the coil type?
Yea, coil spring. not the zigzag flat spring on the full size and compact 9mm/.40’s
Can you make another video please i love this build thinking of getting one aswell
Of shooting it? Or just showing it off, I’ll probably do both in one soon, was planning on taking it out in a couple weeks
@@jamesbaker1392 both would be nice and Great Content Thanks 🙏

@@jamesbaker1392 replace slide lock, mine over bend and snapped after a bit but it did the same initially for my 26 with no mag inside

I’m pretty sure that bump is just how all OEM gen 4 trigger bars are man, don’t think it will change the feel of the trigger.
I Am having feeding problems with my p80 PF45 ACP. Anyone have a suggestion on what it could be

I don't think you need too worry about damaging a steel barrel with a piece of gilding metal (copper, brass).
I simple google search will tell you that barrels do indeed wear out after a certain amount of rounds lol. And bullets aren’t made out of copper
The jacket on the bullet is copper. A copper or lead burr is not going to scratch a steel feed ramp. No need to worry about that.
