New Polymer80 build....Part 1

- A brand new Polymer80 build. I chose to go with the gray polymer frame, open cut slide and gold TIN barrel. The barrel is a crown barrel so it should be more accurate. Had a little trouble with the slide stop spring but got it fixed. Next stop will be the range.

Slide stop can be a problem...aftermarket ones seems to have issues but all
the Glock OEM slide stops I have used worked fine. I have not tried the Vickers
Tactical ones yet however....

Using at the range only personally. I wouldn’t use it for home or a carry. Again, I’m not knocking it. I’m going to purchase one my self. I’ll stick with my S&W. Every day carry. I’ll have fun at the range with friends and family use. I’m only purchasing one of these because you know what’s going to happen in the future. They will stop us from owning one of these because people out here are doing things they shouldn’t be doing. You know it’s going to happen.

1:55 my first g19 I did with the spring to but I noticed it wasn’t right easy fix
Just did a polymer 80 lower receiver..
Freaking cool.. works great topped it with anderson..
Order a pf40sc..od green.. man i like that color.. going to try.. your video helps me understand these things..
Im usually do ar and high point carbines.. im going to rock the glock..

Hey boss I'm having the same problem with my take down spring/lever everything else works likea charm if u can, can u write to me what you did to the take down spring plzzz n thank u
I had to really seat the spring in the groove. It may be debris in the hole so try to use compressed air or some sort of tool to clean out the opening. Once that's done seat the spring and give it some taps to set it in place and try to reinstall. Mine worked fine after all.
@@AshaadAddison okay koo koo I also had noticed that my the spring was bent the side that goes into the opening do u think that could also be effecting it? The spring seems the work fine buh once I pull the take down lever the spring stays in place n the lever is very stuff like no movement at all

I have seen that in order to make the slide and trigger work properly. ALL trigger parts need to be polished. Us a dremel tool with some polish compound from harbor freight and buffing attachments. The spring is a pain. Lift up on the side closest to the back and push really hard on the front to get it to set. If the spring isn't flush with case you'll have issues.
