Mads ! you bring tears to my eyes looking for some of this landscapes and thinking how beautiful the world is and how magical is some of your skills to capture it in the most brilliant way.
Thanks so much to share this kind of experience. I'm more video related, than photography, and I'm curious to know how you make all this car hood shots so stable. I'll be amazed to know how that mountains on background stay so stable on shots.
Thank you very much Tadeu! I'm so happy to hear that :)
In regard to the car hood it's actually very simple. I mount my GoPro on the hood, start recording (movie) and just drive. In post processing I just speed up the clip and add the warp stabilizer effect in Premiere Pro :)
I imagined that it was warp stabilizer from Premiere Pro, but your results are a lot better. Anyway, thanks so much for this reply !
Agree
Love that name, “devil’s golf course “. The salt flats were and sand dunes were cool. ❤❤❤
Death Valley is amazing.
By skill alone, you are better than 90% of photographers here on CZcams. Beautiful shots man.
Thank you very much! That's a huge compliment! :)
We are heading to Death Valley today, inspired by your beautiful pictures in this video. Thank you for sharing
One of the most spectacular parks you should visit when you get the chance is the Valley of Fire state park in Nevada. It's about 2 hours east of Vegas. Beyond stunning, red rock, slot canyons and more.
I love this series from you.
Mads, dude that's close to brought a tear to my eye, In the UK for the last 3 =yrs we have had nothing but total crap every day about Brexit,Politicians etc, frikin etc !!!, I think alot of my countrymen have just forgotten what a stunning world we have, Thank you Mads,I'm out there April 2020 for a few days and after watching that, feel it will be a highlight of my trip. Liked and subbed my friend,be safe.
Also to the 11 who thumbs down this, get ur asses into a dark room and have a serious word with yourselves because there is a "special place in Hell" for anyone who cant relate positively to this video.
Haha, thanks a lot, Ed. Glad to hear you liked it. Be sure to watch my series from Britain. I'd argue it's even better than my US series :)
Love Death Valley have visited several times. We fly to Vegas from Toronto, travel through Death Valley and then explore the Eastern Sierra's on the west side of DV. Especially spectacular in the fall.
Very nice photos and ideas. I am headed up there soon. After watching this, I can't wait!
I must say very beautiful pics you are an artist. Death valley looks like another planet....Great work and amazing video. Respect
Death Valley is my absolute favourite national park in the US. It's massive and the landscape is simply gorgeous.
Yes! I feel the same :)
Nice photography- you are a real artist.
Visiting the park this Wednesday and Thursday. I could watch this episode over and over, I would never get tired of it. Super.
Thanks for yr beautiful video and photographic works!
Mads, all of your work is superb! Keep it coming!
Great video! I loved your format.
cant help marvel at the beauty our world offers and with a great photographer such as you Mads enables so many people to revel in such beauty. A truly wonderful series of images from another epic episode
Thank you very much yet again ;)
Mads, you are one of the most inspiring landscape photographers that I follow! Your videos are always very informational and your Yosemite video was instrumental in my planning for my trip there last week. Thank you so much for your wonderful photos and videos!
Outstanding.
So very lovely. All of it.
That is an amazing video. The day night composites were just incredible
Was in death valley many times. Never been to this one. It's just to big place with little time. Thanks for awesome video. Now I have more places to go.
I love how you keep the most interesting locations and photos for the end, so while watching the excitement feeling grows and it doesn't feel boring at all, no matter the length of the video :)
I shared and recommended your videos in few groups, hope it helps :)
Thank you very much Nina! I appriciate it very much.
Yeah I hope to make the videos in a way I wouldn't find them boring myself ;)
Your photos are gorgeous! I will be there in December. Thank you for sharing all the great information.
I’m going on a few weeks and can’t wait. Great video, and gorgeous images.
Einfach nur schön, thumbs up!!!
Mads, this video is phenomenal and very inspiring. I love all your photography and location guides. I hope you plan to come again to North America and create other guides in the future. Thank you and cheers from Seattle!
Your best video so far, best images, little longer and one of my must visit spots for landscape photography. Thank you.
Thanks a bunch! Yeah I'm pretty happy (to say the least) with the overall product! :D
I cant believe two people has disliked this. Beautiful video.
Thanks Jose! :) Yeah I don't know why that would be, but some people just don't like anything ;)
Or some people think that are better where are they we don’t see their stuff. Thanks. This is great vid
They dont like nature's
I guess I can think of some reasons unfortunately... Some people don't think that it's fair that people make composite images or blend things without giving away their workflow when they post on social media. People think it's dishonest and don't like it.
Very informative video. Thanks for producing and sharing it.
Good stuff Mads! Love the photos of the dunes. Thinking about taking a trip here soon.
Much respect man
Your videos are very informative and inspiring. Keep up the excellent work!
Excellent video Mads. I've been there many times and you did a great job of showing the key points of the park. The photos were excellent too!
nevadaxtube thanks a bunch! :)
14:29 Absolutely stunning. Floored me.
Really enjoyable collection of images and the techniques used to create them. Gathering as much info as possible before heading out for a month long motorcycle adventure touring/photography adventure. Thanks for sharing and love the "spot on" editing which snaps the images to the audio segments. Well done.
Thank you very much John! Yeah I have a background in sports with music, so editing video with music seems rather easy ;)
Good luck with your bike trip - sounds absolutely amazing!
Great video. Death Valley is one of the most facinating places on our earth. I had the opportunity to visit this place in the early spring of 2016, where the Valley was covered with beautiful blooming flowers. A great place to vist and photograph.
Awesome video - thank you for all the info.
Thank you so much for making this video. We are heading to DVNP in a few months time and have started to really nail down our itinerary, with landscape photography in mind. Great job!
Excellent. Thank you.
Oh~ composite ! That's how people get clean and bright foreground. Nice tip thank you! Thanks for uploading this beautiful. video!
Joowon you are very welcome :) That's one way to do it. Another is to stack the image to reduce noise ;)
Beautiful photography 👍
Loved it. Thank you for posting!
I'm happy you like it :)
Great video Mads! I'm planning a 10 day Death Valley and Yosemite photography trip in January. Your videos have been EXTREMELY helpful in my research. I really like that you explain and share location and how to navigate some of the locations. I totally understand some photographers not wanting to share due to bringing too much traffic to the location, but often it helps us up and coming folks to get a little education. Thanks!!
how was it?
Just an outstanding series!
Thank you very much Dave :)
Thank you so much! This video is so informative, I will go visit the death valley during the mid of May.
WOW! WOW!!! FANTASTIC!!! What a fantastic video!!! Thank you so much for sharing your journey, thank you so much for your travel and photography tips!! What incredible photos!!! Shared on my Facebook account!!!
Thank you so much Victor - happy you liked it and shared it :)
I've never been a fan of composites but your day/night comps are very well done and communicate a special feel. Keep the videos coming. I've been using your Iceland videos to plan my trip there next week.
Thank you John, always nice to get such a compliment! And I'm happy the Iceland series work out :)
Amazing
6:27 love it
Wonderful video editing and stunning info/pictures Mads!!
Thank you Aritz! Very happy you liked it! :)
Great job again Mads
Thanks a lot! Much appreciated :)
Love this! Great video and well made. It gave me a very good idea of how this area is. And those day/night composites were awesome.
Thanks so much Ole, I'm happy you liked both the video and pictures! :)
Beautiful artwork as well as your viewbug gallery that you have, especially your meteor crater panoramic shot!
Thanks a lot William! :) Much Appreciated :)

Thanks for sharing these videos. Very helpful planning trips
jpss90 you are very welcome :)
am visiting the US in October, this was a very insightful video, i took notes and am vising this place for sure. thank you, you have a great content :)
Wonderful video Peter and superb photos too. I visited the area in 2012 and this is a very good representation of the best locations.
Thanks a lot Steve! Happy, you can confirm! :)
Amazing!!

Super smukke fotos og vildt sted!
Those dune shots are phenomenal!
Thank you so much Chloe! :)
Mads: Brilliant! I'm planning a road trip to California and just wanted to see some spots to visit. Your video is fabulous, and I'm now a subscriber. Can't wait to see your other works :) Showing your camera settings is very helpful...I'm an amateur photographer. Thank you very much.
Thanks a lot, Tim! :)
Better weather than in the North West !!!!
Beautiful colors, i hope one day i could visit this place ! But you bring me there with your video !
Hehe yeah it was also warmer although still got pretty cold at night.
Just watched episode 1-11 with my girl friend! Really nice photos all the way through and well made videos! Thanks for sharing!

Super shots.
DV is a wonderland.
Thanks a lot Brett! Yeah I'm definately going back!
beautiful work. Im going in a few months, cant wait.
Thanks a lot Ronnie! Good luck :)
Great images and locations. I am surprised you do not have many more subscribers. You are a quality person and I admire your work. I feel guilty for living in California for 37 years and not really exploring the area. I have been inspired by your videos to do so.
Thank you very much Daniel! I have several theories to why I don't have more subs, but being as it is I have a huge engagement rating :)
Wonderful again. Missed death valley last summer (we were with a mobile home, which were not allowed in DV) but now I see I have a reason to return in a normal vehicle. Thanks for the tips Mads Peter!
You're welcome Ard. I think you should go in the winter period, summers can be insanely hot!
amazing stuff. going to head over there this weekend
MistaKimsta thanks! I wish I could go back "just like that" :)
Great set of images, really nice compositions and colors. Regards from 🇨🇱 Chile!
Thank you very much. I have links to everything in the description :)
superbes vidéos très intéressantes... félicitation ! j'aime beaucoup !
I think a "thank you" is appropriate :)
Really awsome pictures!
Thank you very much, Paul :)
Wow, great report, thanks
Thanks a lot Alexander :)
Bloody awesome mate !
Thanks a lot Aussie ;)
just like you i didnt really expect a whole lot from DV but it surely has outdone itself!! one of my fav NP
Andy Vu exactly! A huge surprise. I so want to go back :)
that's beautiful🖒 amazing work.
Thank you very much Ayesha!
Your work is very inspiring..
Thanks a lot :)
Thank you for your great video and I agree completely, Death Valley is very intoxicating! We were there many years ago and are trying to plan a return trip in the near future. It is the lowest spot below sea level in the western hemisphere and the second lowest spot on the planet. It makes for a great night photography location as well, and you certainly demonstrated that!
Thank you very much John! I think you should get back as fast as possible! :D
That was a very good video. Going to DV in March with my Nikon. I've been doing my research on the sites in the park. You've given me a good head start.
Same here, going beginning of March
Thank you for yet again another great video!!! Heading to Death Valley in just a couple weeks!
EDIT... Oh this is 5 years old. lol. Still a great video!
Great work!
Walter F. Verburgt thanks :)
I love Death Valley! I've camped there several times. You can get to Eureka Dunes fairly easily by taking the hwy to Lone Pine CA, and attacking it from the north western side of the park; from there the roads are good (for gravel, that is) and not too bad.
Great work Mads!
Thanks Zach! :)
Great video--makes me want to go back to Death Valley (have not been in years!)
It's just about getting out there! :)
Great video, heading there in a few days.
Thanks! Good luck :)
First video and you have new subscriber. Nice 👍🏻
Welcome aboard! :)
Great captures ! this place is by far one of my favorite national park in California, I also suggest you to visit the Ubehebe Crater next time, you will love it ;-) cheers
Thank a lot and thanks for borrowing the picture! Yeah I'd love to go with a bigger car and check out the rest of the park :)
Gotta go here
I know photography can be very subjective...as is Art....but having viewed a lot of your work...i'm very surprised you only have 25k subscribers considering the high quality of your work...obv 25k is not to be sniffed at but imv..you should be be up there in 100k's if not more ...your imaging is a pleasure to view Mads!
Thank you very much for such kind words, David :)
Magnificent! I particularly liked the salt flats close-ups. Have you done a video on your process to combine landscape and star images?
Thank you so much, Kevin. I'm just about to finish one for purchase. If you subscribe to my newsletter I'll inform you in the near future. There's a link in the description of my videos :)
Thank you so much! I really appreciate you sharing all your experience in photographing death valley!!!
You're very welcome Jack :)
Awesome... a place for the bucket list
And you have a great 500px page :)
Love the video. We are headed to DV in September. I am very excited. Your pictures are incredible. Question, I haven't noticed I your videos if you say how many days or how much time you spend at each place. I would love to know how many days you are spending in each park. Hope that makes sense
Makes total sense. No I normally don't since it can seem a bit unnecessary and something you'll have to decide yourself when you're there :) But in the case of Death Valley it was four days (three sunsets and sunrises).
Great video Mads. What would you recommend the best month to see the milky way in DV?
