I thought you would do a flat drive serve into the corners. I can do this in a fairly unpredictable way but I want to learn if there are different variations of it. Like aim one way and when you are about to strike the shuttle bend your arm and flick flat drive the opposite way

The difference between the flat one et the spin one is the amount of power used ? Because you're slicing the shuttle in the same way, with the same position but the power in the fingers in the flat serve is increased?

Yesterday in the tournament umpire asked me not to do flat serve because the opponents at this level can't return it, even though it is legal. 🤦

He did not pretend. The speciality of flat serve is that the player gets the shuttle with such high speed that u dont get time to react!!

Will i have to use bevel grip for flat and spin serve? Or just will place the thumb on right side of the handle?
That's optional. I mean it's possible. I would suggest putting the thumb on the edge of biggest side and the narrow side.

i dont see feint serve here. its like when the racquet doing like a straight serve but the shuttle going other ways idk how to describe it but i always do it when i serve on right box or even score number box.
I get nervous when I serve in doubles. I don’t have a consistent good short serve and I did practice a lot but when games are close or opposite player threatens my serve by standing close, I get nervous and my serve falters.

On flat serve he is hitting the ball ? Is it correct or fault serve ?
0:11 just intercept it your racket is already right next to the bird. I counted 18 frames (2 frames per still) to react; assuming a pessimistic framerate of 24 fps, you have 432 ms to react. This is more than enough for a grandpa as the average reaction time is 250ms for people so this is easy. Temporally, you also have half a second to react, which is more than enough. From my own experiences and observations this serve is easily receivable.
Point is, he's exaggerating the difficulty to receive

I be honest I am weak with my backhand, I can only return a backhand from the back of the court to the net. Yet whenever I do that, it seems the ball travel too slow that my opponent can move in and smash it
Check your grip, with a good backhand grip th shuttle will travel faster and further 👍👍

I might be wrong but the guy teaching low serve is doing wrong serve according to BWF because he's hitting the shuttle above the waist level..
I agree the serve looks a bit high. But the official rule is 1.15 over the floor. The waist level isn't used anymore because it wasn't same height for all players.
