- 2 years ago I saw this bluetiful 993 at Scuderia Hanseat event and was desperate for a ride. Today we're making it happen!

@MishaCaroudin thanks for featuring the car we built this many years ago glad its still going strong a testament to our work !
Curious what was done with the transmission. I hate the huge gap between 1st and 2nd in mine, but every time I hear prices for changing it up they sound like the result of a rounding error like in Superman 2, or Office Space if you prefer.
993 engine sounds exactly like those in the NFS Porsche Unleashed game which was made more than 20 years ago. It's one of the best racing games ever made.
Loved that game!
Best NFS
"It's reasonably dry": instant pedal to the metal😂👌
god, that gearbox. those shifts, and the sound. just mesmerizing. and great driving too!
smoooth operator... just charming calm scandinavian driving...
love the small detail of the swedish colour scheme with the harnesses
💙💛🤩
Seemed like an effortless drive by a true gentleman pilot. Enjoyed the footage from beginning to end.
PS: sometimes the camera turned too much toward the steering wheel, which then felt like a corner while the track was already straigthened up. Or was that just me ?!?
What a machine, great lap, he clearly knows what the car can do, just awesome, Rj in Oz
Great lap, the 993 is perfection.
Is is just me or does the new camera give a much better perspective of the elevation changes? Seems so much more noticeable.
Bluetiful ha! I see what you did there, I dig these very much. So much good. 🤘🔥😎🔥🤘
Gorgeous colour, anytime I see a blue like this it reminds me of my lust for Laguna Seca Blue.
Very nice car (this setup...
Sounds really tight and composed. Gorgeous car!
i’m loving the 993 content!
I like the gearing of that 993. It makes the drive so much different.
This is probably my perfect spec 993. Beautiful colours, great engine, love the gearbox...and that wing...
Great run ! car & driver, superb.
A beautiful car, beautifully driven. Love a short-shift, me. Class.
I would love that gear spacing in my M/T 991.2GT3… Nice to see a few familiar faces in the end also :)
que bonito Porsche y que sonido tan fino muy buen video Misha saludos
Lovely car. Smooth lap.
Ohhh, the gearbox!
That porsche looks, sounds and goes perfect 👍
Ohhhhh boiiiii..... that's a beautiful car right there. That's pure perfection. Looks like the SC RS version from gt sport.
You can tell he's been to scuderia hanseat. Absolute perfect line on every corner
such a good driver with a good car with a good passenger
A fellow swede! What a great car and calm driving style!
Misha have you tried the GoPro Max Lens Mod?
I love the wing
A lovely sounding car.
Very impressive lap on a wettish track in an old school (ie taily) 911!
Love the car, love the driving. Everything about that 993 is perfect. Starting to appreciate them more and more these days. Bluetiful. Love that word. The carbon splitter on the M3 taxi tho 😁
Great video
Nice cruise lap.
Perfect flat 6 sound, it does get you happy…
Good morning! Here from México lol Sunday funday
Fin bil du har...och mjuk, snabb körning...✌️
Tack!
That’s a great car, I’m certain Misha would agree the video did not capture the FULL Assault to the ears and senses of the sound in that car. It’s one of those cars that needs to be experienced in person to be believed, mind mind numbing...
Gorgeous
I love the sound of the aircooled era of Porsche
I attended Scuderia Hanseat Sept 1969.
Thanks for sharing. Maybe it isnt possible but any chance of asking drivers about them? Their motivations, philosophies? Relationship with Ring/motorsport? Thanks
Good video
Bluetiful is a perfect description of the 993 in every way.
993 all day long 💙
Proper cool car!
i'f known it can be done !
making a 993 F'n fast and still feel as lill' stressed doing so as a GT2 RS MR ^^
As soon as you switched the horizon levelling off,the sound became mono... just so you know... but great vlog as always nonetheless...
I love that there are three 993's in White, Blue, Yellow driving around the Nordschleife regularly. Maybe one day all three cars will meet on the Nordschleife and get a carousel photo together.
ps. Love the new camera
That short shift is great. No shame in only being overtaken by Porsche 😂 dusted an M2 as well. Love the blue. More classic Porsche content.
Great Video! Fantastic car! Cool drive. - Way to much small talk during the drive :-D ;-)
Oh, Michelin Connect in use!
Bluetiful Porsche and wonderful sound. Great Car.
Question for the next Summit with Robert: I´m a bit confused about the "Media License".
Can you please explain in more detail what that License is about ? Reason why i ask: Sometimes you mention that License in your Videos and that you have to pay for it or you need to get permission from the Nürburgring GmbH for filming certain things ( for example the "Make - a - wish" Video with that boy who spent a few days at Apex and did several Laps in different cars). And then there is a video like this one
in which pretty much a whole lap is being filmed. Also considering that your Videos are part of your and the Apex business.
Does someone like Tim ( Shmee ) need a Media License too when he films his laps ? Because the Channel "Shmee150" is also a business for him ?
The video quality does look amazing.
Edit: Oh, and fantastic car! Analog, mechanical, emotional, alive.
Beautiful 996 though!! 😂
Rimac ON NURBURGRINGGGGGG
I get nervous of his shifting😅
Something seems to be off with the frametimes & playback speed.
I assume there are some seconds video missing where Misha turned off the horisont adjustment.
nice
Good morning comrades
👍🏻
🤘😎🤘🇬🇧
He is wearing HANS.
Hybrid
Het schakelmechanisme ziet er ook goed uit, een optie voor de witte!
Sound ? This thing too quiet man! Beautiful machine though🔥👍
Put the cup pipes on later that day...looouud👂😱
Just out of curiosity, Misha, why don’t you buy your own personal vehicle? Im sure driving various dealer vehicles to test out on the ring is fun but i know for me personally it’s always nice to go back to something you own the keys to that you can truly make your own. Love the content btw!
Well, the flooding did kill one such car.
I think U need to watch misha's videos more often... 😄😄 #ripgolf
@@bcerj I know he had the golf(s), I’ve been watching his videos for years now. Still doesn’t answer my question though, I’m sure misha could have mostly any car he wants, but he chooses not to. I’m just curious as to why
WHY DO YOU NEVER DRIVE THE NICE CARS!
Did you mean to film that at 720p? It had an authentic 993 era video feel :-[]
This 10 & 2 hand position is bad
Why?
Uhh, what he can do about it? That OMP steering wheel spokes isn't 9-3
@@guitarpicker1988 when you grab above/below the pivot point, changes in lateral acceleration cause the mass of your arms to make it both impossible to hold the same steering angle constant, and give you false feedback. Your hands *will* move but it won't be based on input from the wheel. Example: imagine holding a rolling pin at arms length, and pushing your arm side to side while trying to keep it vertical. If you hold the rolling pin in the middle, it stays vertical. If you hold it even a little off-center, the rolling pin will wave back and forth as you apply lateral acceleration.
@@in4merATP wow thank you for the very good explaining. So best hand position is at lateral level 9-3?
@@guitarpicker1988 if the wheel is perfectly circular, yes. Just make sure your hands are both at the same height as the center of the steering column. Likewise, both hands. If you go over a bump with just one hand on the wheel even at 9 or 3, the wheel angle will also be changed. This is another good reason to always return your shifting hand to the wheel between gears.
