- A natural eyeliner technique is trending in all the makeup spaces, but I don't like it as much as this other eyeliner trick I'll show you today! We haven't done a makeup video in forever so I thought we were due for one and so many of you have been asking for one. Here it is! I'm one of the over 50 gals and I've heard an older woman should not line her bottom eye lid, that it ages an already older eye. I find for myself that bears true. Would you do a tutorial for an older, over 50, woman?

I'm 59 and haven't been lining my lower lid for years. My eyes definitely look better without it.
Same! Over 50, applying makeup very different from 20,30, 40...I know about tight lining and water lining but need more help lol

This was great! Suggestion: I wish you could do a makeup tutorial addressing different kinds of eye problems (e.g. deep-set, hooded, etc.) at some point. You’re so knowledgeable and positive, I’m sure we would all enjoy it, and learn something!
I loved the video. I am 76 for one more month. I was so good with makeup until I just quit wearing it when my husband passed. I am in a new phase of life because for this past six years I have turned into a hermit. My kids are worried about me so I am moving closer to my daughter, only about 20 miles from where I live now and it is a 55+ community so they are hoping I make friends and get out more. My son lives out of state but flies down to see me about every other month. I know they worry so I am trying to spunk up more. I got some good ideas today, thank you.
Someone else suggested a video for older women and that would be great. I happen to have gray hair with snow on the sides and I like my gray hair.
I don't use makeup (I'm 65 any haven't used any since my early 30's) but I love watching others use it. I learn so much that I wish I knew back then. Oh well...😊😊
I absolutely love your tutorials Beebs. I’m over 50 & stopped wearing a lot of makeup as the many products from blending powders, toners, different eye shadows & now brow ‘shaping’ are overwhelming as in the 70s there seemed to be less. ❤ 🇦🇺

Thank you for showing us how to use a pencil eye liner. I always use gel eye liner on my lower lashes but I find it is harsh at first and doesn't last long. I think I've been doing it all wrong but I'm going to try a pencil now. You always look beautiful!

Great tutorial. Very helpful for me. My eyes are green, but appear brown from a distance. I thought your eyes were brown. Give us a close up so we can see 🎉the blue. Love your channel!!

Beene you are stunning with or without makeup! Don’t mean to be a Debbie Downer but enjoy every year that you are able to apply your makeup this way. At about the age of 48 I pretty much had to give up on heavy eye makeup. It just felt like I was this older lady who would not expand my makeup routine and it aged me big time! I need to up my blending game… I‘be become so lazy just quickly throwing everything on my face!

Your hair is very pretty. In my case the longer it is the droopy it gets. You don’t seem to have this issue. I love your channel. Your advice and tutorials are easy and practical. Thank you for helping the rest of us to look and feel better. ❤

I like Ecotools brushes, too. I have a couple of sets.

Looking good Beebs!! Have you seen Victoria Beckhams 50th birthday party? The spice girls reunited and boy did they all look fantastic. Victoria's dress was amazing so was the color choice for her bra which was interesting.. we need you to do a deep dive on the spice girls fashion. Over the years and recent. I hated their 2019 cheap tour costumes.. but all other tours especially 2008 costumes by Cavalli were the best and so high end and fitting
I love your eye makeup tutorials, they have changed the way I apply my eyeshadows to spectacular effect. I have multi coloured eyes (blue/yellow which looks green, and brown) and I’m learning which colours have which effects. I too can look like I have brown eyes, and I’m learning how to bring out the blue. I light dusting of blue glitter over any eye shadow colour does the trick.

Thanks for the tip about eyeliner on lower lids to make that wing , always had trouble with it trying to do on the upper lid. Some videos says dont put eyeliner on lower lids especially if you have hooded eyes.
I love how you do your makeup and you look great with or without it. I have always been too ugly to bother trying makeup but at almost 60 it's still fun to watch the odd tutorial. It's like your fashion videos. They are great fun to watch even if I'll never wear more than old lady clothes. LOL You have a real skill with how your critique the looks. It's not mean but insightful.
GM Beebs -great tutorial on eye makeup - I cannot do have of that as I cannot see well enough without my glasses and cannot wear contacts so it is basically shadow and mascara only. Wish I could do the rest but it's okay that i can't 😀 Would love make up tips for older woman
I have that same problem so I have a standing mirror and I sit so I can get my face close. Right now I have a small bathroom so I sit on the toilet and put my mirror on the sink.

I let my hair grow out into Quarantine Silver during the pandemic. My hair is very healthy and I have it cut shouldar lenght with layers to hold a great set just with bobbipins.
It was fun to watch and terrifying at the same time - I was so afraid you were going to poke your eye with those tweezers when you were putting the lashes on! You look lovely, both before and after.

I swear by Bare Minerals poweder foundation, mineral veil and blush! II found them in my late teens, and noticed right away my skin was less reactive when wearing a face of makeup with Bare Minerals prodcuts, compared to others. I really do believe their natural, simplistic ingredients are better for my skin.
Sadly, I've noticed the powder brozner causes a bit of skin reaction when I wear it but I'm happy to know that it's a good fit for others!
My problem is that as I get older, my hair continues to get thinner and thinner. I have thought about getting a wig, but I don't see any that don't look like a Pomeranian puppy dog because they are so thick. And also have a big problem with shaky hands, so putting on much of what you have done would be a big problem for me. Not really complaining because I have never worn a great deal of make-up. I do enjoy watching you do this type of video, so thanks for putting it out. You look really very pretty with what you do. Thanks
I wish I knew how to do makeup better, but I don't wear any on my eyes because they're behind glasses. I use a darker lip gloss as my major makeup type.

I do the line as underliner on the top half no liner on the bottom makes my lashes look bigger but no line. Either a cream shimmer or just matt shade. I gave up foundation and use tinted moisturizer and cream blush but at 60 less is more. I remember not wanting to go out the door with out my black liner on top

You are naturally So pretty Beebs! Now for my gripe, I find so many pallets have a preponderance of red based browns or red undertones in their shadow colors! It looks horrid on fair skin / light eyed people. Even the cool tones can be to ruddy or muddy. Do u have any good matte suggestions that are not red based browns?

You have lovely big eyes. I have small eyes,if I put false eyelashes on I look like Janice from the muppets. 😢I wish I could wear them, it makes the eye just looked ‘finished’. 😊
What are your thoughts of applying lashes under your real lashes?
I find that to be less comfortable and harder to remove the adhesive than applying the lashes on top of the naturals.

I have admired your eye makeup since I found your CZcams channel. I have close, deep set eyes. So deep set, I can’t even get an eyelash curler to touch my eyelashes! For me, the benefits of my deep set eyes, I have little to no wrinkles and I am in my late fifties! Obviously my eyelids are hooded, and eyeliner is almost a “never”. I also have my dad’s eyebrows and they are thick and grow long and curly! My eyebrow person wants to pluck my eyebrows, but I will only let her cut them, because the 90”s! I have gone to Seohora and Ulta for makeup advice, but I swear when I come out, I look like a “street walker”, and have lost all faith in makeup! So I rarely wear makeup! But I also don’t feel like a “grown woman”, as I am doing makeup as I did as a high school student! I thinks I think I could trust your advice! Thanks for all your posts, I am, and if you were to see me in “normal day” you would never guess I was a fashion design student! I agree wholly, let’s stop with the dresses so sheer women are wearing panties! It’s just not fashion to me, I like to call it “half assing it” when it comes to fashion design! This tutorial was awesome and I appreciate you taking the time to share!
