Celtic fan here, fair and honest assessment which is refreshing.
I’m a Celtic fan but well played mate for coming on pretty much straight away after a defeat in one of these games and doing this vid. Especially on your own and especially with such a refreshingly honest and considered assessment. You were right about us being wasteful, but your boys stayed in it to the end, even with 10 men and made it nervy. One thing I was surprised about was that Cantwell didn’t come on later in the game. He might not be the player he was last season, but when you’re crying out for some creativity from a potentially game changing player, wouldn’t he have been a better option than say Scott Wright?
Fair comment mate .I`m a Celtic fan too . Some more rabid elements don`t like any kind of rational and civil communication between Rangers and Celtic fans . I enjoy every good analysis.

Good honest opinion, I'm a Celtic fan but I always have a wee listen in to club 22 for an honest prediction of the games.
I was there when we were dominating the 90s. I was there during the banter years.
I am here struggling to think of a worse individual performance in an old firm match than lundstram today.
Drops his man for the first goal. Somehow scores an OG, who knows what he was trying to do? And throws himself in to a needless challenge after we do the hard part of getting back in to the game.
Would it have changed the outcome? Who knows. I am certain though, that it guaranteed the outcome.
He did not sign a contract so doesn’t want to play for rangers and therefore he shouldn’t again.

A stat I heard at HT. 47% of Tavernier’s passes gave possession to Celtic. Fucking brutal .

95% of our passing in 1st half went either 2 yards behind or infront of a blue jersey and when it was played to someone like Lawrence , he looked like bambi on ice

It’s a decent Celtic side.
We never seem to learn from previous games against them. I don't understand why we don't flood the midfield and at least make it difficult for them to pass through. Far too many pasengers who couldn't string a pass together. All the old guard have to move on in the summer, Tavernier included. They have never had the mentality to beat Celtic when we need to.
Didn’t PC say in a presser a month ago both Tav and Goldson will be here for next season ..
I sincerely hope not. Time to move on otherwise we will constantly get these same results. They have both come to an end in my opinion. Tavernier went missing today.@@chloek2207
I agree. I don’t like how we don’t play our own game against them. Treat them like European big guns by playing long balls and trying to hit in the counter. It’s defeatist attitude, and clement needs to shoulder some of the blame too.

Exactly. We need to impose our own game when we play them. All we seem to do in the last few games is sit back and pump the ball long hoping to pick up a second ball. It's not exactly a tactical masterclass. Clement does have to shoulder some blame for how we have been set up for these games. Most of the players though aren't up to it. @@GreatMerovingian

Honest assessment of the game, diehard Tim here. Celtic are years ahead of Rangers! Teams been together longer and more money over recent years to invest across the board.

They’re the most negative podcast out there. There’s a huge gulf between guys like Heart and Hand Rangers Review , Four lads and Club at 22.
This lot have given us absolutely nothing to not be negative about - it would have been happy clappy nonsense to genuinely expect any different result to the exact one that happened today. Adding to that, took one look at that starting line-up and nearly threw up. An appalling selection.

League slipped from our hands when Maeda was let in at Ibrox last month and then it was lost at Dingwall when Dessers couldn't convert to make it 2-0. Everything since Ross County has just been dire.

In absolute fairness, Celtic had a fully fit squad with zero injuries while Rangers had lots of injuries. Throw in that they had no fans at the game ( their own fault) and you can see Celtic had a big advantage.
That said, Celtic have IMO better players and a better manager too.
Next season Celtic will have a MUCH bigger budget than Rangers so the Gap is going to widen. Brendan Rodgers won't accept that squad. He will demand big signings

Game changes with the sending off after getting ourselves back in it. We were playing them at full strength while we were down to bare bones and got through the 1st 20 unscathed. I maintain our attitude was better and they could'nt put us away with 10 men. They missed chances, so what is that our fault? I know changes will be made in the summer but their is still a cup to play for this season so we need less of the doom and gloom brigade and get behind the club we love. 🇬🇧🇬🇧💙

I didn't see the game because I was at my mates wedding, but to be honest I could have told you the result and performance beforehand. It's the same story. Gift them a goal. Don't do what everyone knows works against Celtic, which is to go at them. Same story, same result.

Celtic where quite obviously, the better team on the day. However after we pulled that goal back i genuinely felt we had 2 goals in us to win that game. I felt if we could ride out the first 10-20 mins of the 2nd half and then made our changes that we could win that game. Lundstrum lost us that game end of. I dont think the guy is mentally right. Hope thats his last game for us.
Lundstrum should be sent packing tonight. Complete idiot of a human being. Too slow, lost his man for his own goal had to “sprint” and couldn’t stop to adjust his feet. Then to do that tackle on the edge of Celtics box….wtf. Lawrence as well, absolute missing. Diamande….doesnt close anybody down just lets Celtic midfield advance constantly. Sterling is our best player and we try to fit him in rather than make him the key component of this team

I am Rangers through and through and always 💙 will be why did the Gaffer not start Ridvan he looked fit to me and as always is solid and fast at LB and if he gave Roofe a few games he could have started as well and i was very surprised not to see Cantwel in midfield i take it he was injured along with a lot of our team as for Lundstram i did not expect much but at the end of the day absolute diabolical result,No SURRENDER. A good honest appraisal of the game Ally. In too many games our so called key players are just not turning up. Cup Final could be a repeat as we have nothing different or better to offer.

Not Angry ..that’s exactly how I feel mate. It was exactly what I expected today. I can’t fathom why Clement gets so much credit and praise because he has continually made major selection errors and defended his decisions and his players, the same players that have seen a multitude of managers get the sack! Every podcast I’ve watched over the past few months have varying opinions on who should play where and in what system and regardless of how good or bad the respective opinions might be, not one single person has chosen the players, positions or system that Clement has chosen! Likewise, his subs on numerous occasions including today have been at times absolutely woeful. Rangers are a disgrace and if Clement is genuinely being honest with his selections and comments then he ain’t the man to take Rangers forward.
I looked at the team sheet and thought nah lets forget it but the league wasn't lost today it was lost against Dundee and the game before that, if I was Butland I would ask who is going to be in front of me next season and if it's the same shite then I would be off because he has saved this team on many an occasion and deserves better in front of him

Clement knew fine well, our thinking on Lundstrum & Barasic, but 'doubled-down' in stupidity and chose them, regardless. Starting to have serious concerns, about Clement. He puts players, befor the 'cause.' His thinking is flawed. He doesn't understand the Scottish game. Pathetic! High-pressure Celtic-bottlers, be their name. Don't be afraid to let the dross, know it!!

Same Ally. I predicted this too little too late result. Lundstram eliminated any chance of a result after Dessers got us back in with some momentum and 100% will be on his way now out of the club. Time and time again cannot be relied upon. Really disappointing all round.
Not blaming Clement, he got us into a position we never thought wed get to this season. Ultimately judged with his own team next season.

Blown another chance again today. Keeps happening. Record awful there since gerrard. Another big summer. I feel our journey with tav and Co is over. A new direction is need with a new captain. Tav had a great run with goals which we thank him for time to break up the old band.

Sterling, Butland and Silva our best players, Lundstum appalling, Diamonde appalling, Lawrence appalling, would punt Lawrence and would not pay the money for Diamonde as the last two games he has against them he was utterly garbage. A big clear out needed at Ibrox, that team never done it for Clement we had too many failures and midfield was utterly pathetic.
If Clement persists with Lundstram in the cup final he is going to lose more credability with the Rangers support. Lundstram is a one paced bottler and he is not good enough in these games, shocker of a first half by him. Totally lost ORiley for thst goal, scored a nonsense own goal then gets reckessly sent off.
