He's taken a team that averaged 2.6 points per game last season, to a team that average 2.3 points per game. The only reason the newco have challenged this season is due to the managers change in style which has lead to an inconsistent season.

I’m glad someone else has noticed this with Clement. This all began after the new year game at Celtic park. Any time his side have lost or failed to win “must win” games of late he has sounded bizarre
The first half against st mirren celtic were playing into quite a fierce wind so it's dofficult to make a fair assessment. Same goes for the Celtic Rnagers game as well btw, both teams i thjnk benefited from having the wind at their back in each half, even at that elite level
All Clement was trying to do, was not throw his players under the bus, as there isn't time to pick them back up. He was trying to tell their supporters to keep backing the team. Which they aren't doing, they have turned on them.

Even Celtic would be in trouble if it wasn’t for Champions League money and selling players for a profit. Rangers haven’t got anyone to sell. The Scottish teams should merge into the English leagues and then they can fight for competition and make more money.
