- This fragrance is so so so rare to find, but thanks to one of our brothers in Bangladesh, Mr. Masud, owner of Perfume Center, he managed it somehow, and I am grateful to him for selling this only one piece to me, this was something I was searching for 8 long years, I had the newer version since 2016, so I compared them both in this video. check it out if you are a fan of PE :)

Tim was an awesome reviewer, Loved his videos. They really embodied the 90's to early 2000's vibes too. Platinum Egoiste is my all time favourite from Chanel. I don't know how Mr. Masud managed to find this legendary perfume in one of its vintage versions but that is just awesome. Amazing find bro 👍

I’ve never tried vintage but have a few hundred ml of current batch. It’s a timeless fragrance imo.
Chanel is such a classy house. Their fragrances are classic and timeless.
I still have that previous version (2011 batch) around 70% full, and I recently purchased the new version as a backup bottle that is soon to arrive here. I just love this fragrance, just can't go without it, it simply is my daily driver, my signature scent since 2011. At that time I literally watched all the OG reviewers talking about this before buying it, including the ones quoted by Joy and others. Good old times!

Egoiste Platinum has been reformulated at least a couple of times, even the one you have is not the same as the original formula but certainly it is closer if you compare it with the current formulation that I like but I found soapier..... this was my first fragrance as an adult, the first one that I bought with my own money and even after all these years and the size of my collection I still consider it my signature fragrance... enjoy it!!

If talking about fragrances from 90' I wonder if you've ever smelled Shiseido Basala, which is discontinued since 15 years. It would be great to see you review and know if you find any alternatives for Basala. It was so unique that I cannot find any substitute from such a long time. Greetings from Poland!
Not all vintage bottles are equal. Look at the atomizer, if it looks normal then it is the inferior reformation, but if the diameter of the atomizer is really thick and bulbous then you have a good one. Also, the top of the sprayer should be slightly concave if it is an older bottle
It also says Egoiste Platinum on the older batches, not Platinum Egoiste
@@thejuiceloosener150 You are correct, but I have never smelled those bottles. I was talking about the bottles right after that one, where the atomizer looks really big.
This is probably a mid or late 2000s, or early 2010s bottle. 90s bottles say Egoiste Platinum. I think they switched to the fat bottles around 2015?

Smells like CK Eternity.
This is not so vintage. The bottles before 1995 said eau de toilette above Chanel. And they were Called Egoiste platinum. Not platinum egoiste. The first bottles were like the ones today. The tall bottles were in the middle.
