I don’t believe people in the longevity problem. People compliment me 9 hours later but when they’re closer to my skin. You can’t smell it after a few hours because your nose adjust to it.

Man that stuff is dope. I have over 40 bottles and that one is lined up with my signature bottles. It's a beast just like all the rest of the Chanel fragrances. Now as far as the suit shirt green walls. If the title of your video was read B4 the comments were put out there. I don't think the comments would have been mentioned. It said on black and white ( 1993 Retro) it's a through back in the year. the walls shirt suit tie. Well done
My signature from 2007-2012. Many many great yrs with this scent. It changed too much for me once Chanel when to the current “fat” bottle. If you get the “skinny” with bottle and cap the same size you’re good. Luckily I was able to scope up an original spray bottle from 1993 so a time capsule when ever I want a trip down memory lane. I wear it only a couple few times a year now but it will always be around in my collection for nostalgia.
I love Egoiste (one of my two favorite Sandalwood fragrances of all-time) but never quite bonded with this Platinum flanker. Shame! Regardless, enjoyed the review and I will keep trying this fine gentleman's fragrances and hope that we one day bond. Cheers!
I'm trying to learn to like Platinum Egoiste. On paper I thought it would be great: Green Irish Tweed DNA hybridized with a Fougere DNA. But in reality it creates a metallic accord that is somewhat astringent. And it foreshadowed the creation of Abercrombie and Fitch Fierce and MontBlanc Legend. Like I said, still trying to like it. It is better than Egoiste, that ash tray smelling thing, at least.

The vintage Chanel Égoïste Platinum (until 2015) is EXCELLENT. An authentic all year round, all occasions 10/10 MASTERPIECE, IMHO.

When I want something fresh and classy, I reach for Platinum Egoiste. Bleu doesn't even reach it to Platinums ankles.

Oddly, i really love this one but cannot abide Egoiste. It has a bit of a barbershop vibe but doesn't feel all that retro to me.

I have this one. To me it's lineal and generic. Very safe inoffensive scent. I work in retail so this one works for me.
