Everytime I come across a person's vmx rims review, I can't help but think the person is dead if there are old unanswered comments like "how's it holding up? Etc" 😂😭
Bought them for my 800GSA instead of buyng an 850 with standard tubeless rims. Just put new tyres on them. The front needed no balance weight and the wheels are remarkably straight compared to OEM BMW wheels. Anyhow looks perfect and I'm very happy with the way it looks. Starting testdriving this week, keep you posted iff there are any remarks
Looking at a set for my Triumph T120 so I valued your review. One thought that has come to mind, tightness aside, is the actual quality of the bearings if these use the OEM sized bearings and seals? If not, what sort of scrambling and hoop jumping may be required when they eventually need replacement.
Supposedly they use oem size seals, etc. Did seem like the front wheel spacers that came with the wheels was a bit bigger. But worse comes to worse, pull the bearings and get the part # off them and buy aftermarket. A bearing is a bearing.
@@bikerforlife5222 Just as a follow up, Relative to my 2020 Bonneville T120 this was KKE Racing's response to the bearing and seal inquiry: "we use high quality bearings in NSK 6905, the same size of your stock parts"

any remarcable with this wheels?
I've been sitting on this same decision for many months now, till my overused Battlax A41s are almost balding. How goes the quality?
15000km done and no remarks... no damage, bearings ok, spokes and rims all ok 😊😊
@@dvdh4937what about now? 😂

Can you provide an update on how you like the VMX rims? How many miles on them, any difficult off-road, any problems. Would you buy them again? Thanks
Will do once this year's ice age is over. Living in Ohio puts a damper on winter riding. Of course on the nice days, I'm working or out of town. LOL
@@bikerforlife5222 any news?
Do you notice a weight difference in these vs stock wheels? Performance difference?
Not really. I'm just overjoyed that I don't have to shuck a tire and tube on the side of the road for a flat. Not to mention carry tools and tubes.
@bikerforlife5222 great, thanks.
