  • Beethoven Moonlight Sonata, this february 28th its 4 months since i touched piano for the first time.
    Totally doable.
A few things to tweak, such as patience to start from the beginning and not being panicked when recording lol
Also, to keep up the pace from start to finish. Sometimes i rush to get to the place where im stuck at now - almost the last page of this piece of music.
And wow.. its such a pleasure to be able to play this. Im thrilled to hear what my fingers develop with keys .
I want to soften the touch of the keys with my fingers as i feel this song is caring but also i dont want low volume.
I think the middle pedal is for that, to lower the volume even if press hard the keys but i can't tell - this piano came without it. But i dont mind. I prefer to teach my hands to obey me lol
Cant wait to master this, and then move on to the 3rd movement of moonlight Sonata (like why would i want movement 2? 😜)
Yes i know, it sounds crazy. Why would anyone with 4 months experience want to play such a speedy, crazy and advanced piece?
Cause my willpower & desire is strong. I'll break a finger. You'll see 😂
    Anyways!
If you are new, you can totally do this... I dont have special talent, im just dedicated to learn. I found my way of absorbing patterns, how to play and then practice - like a lot lol
Thanks Brianne Paik for giving me the kick starter. Im eager to know where I'll be next year, or 3 ~ 5 years from now on.
I'll continue to update my progress here if thats allowed :)

good start! there are some major flaws that I doubt are intentional or mistakes. reading triols and 8th/16th at the same time for beginners is extremely challenging that's why i would recommend listening as much as you can to an interpretation done by a more advanced pianist and memorize the rhythm instead of trying to read it by yourself.

Im curious to know what are those flaws!
Show me what they are and how to fix them.
Im still trying to maintain note tones (force when pushing down)
Also keeping the bpm rythm steady....
And not forgetting what's coming next so i dont stop.

0:30,0:36,3:21,3:27 the rythme is all over the place there are more examples but if you get those right the rest will be fine I think.also on 0:28 and other instances you repeat the notes for an extra 4th It's not hard to fix but if it's just a reading mistake I think you should be aware of it.

@@gamliel2782 what do you mean by "you repeat the notes for an extra 4th" ?
This music is basically 1..2..3.. and then 1..2..3... Rythm. But there are some parts its 3-4 instead of just 1 in the 3rd.
Thats one flaw i know and still trying to get it right cause i used to play that pinky 4th note at the same speed as other notes and its played right after the 3rd...
Its not easy - specially my pinky.
I have little time playing piano overall, and its complicated to make that finger listen to me haha
That dun... Dun-dun... I still dont get it right. (0.30)
And (3:21)... No idea whats in there to be heard? Other than the obvious 😅
      Thanks for your feedback!
I constantly practice to improve how its played. (People at home must be tired of this by now)

@litoid the 1 2 3 like you call it is also called a 4th so you do an extra 1 2 3 but like I said listen to the piece as much as you can it's the best way to correct yourself.the 3:21 part as you performed is completely false you press (I think) c(do) on the right hand and g# (sol#) on the left twice instead of once the empty note written here means you need to extend the c(do) for a half or 2- "1 2 3s".
