- THIS VIDEO IS MY CHILDHOOD!
This is the introduction video for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004/2002.
Expect further videos - I know they are boring...but I find these hilarious, tear-jerking, and just...so many memories. - Hry
Wow, I grew up with these two! I'm currently enrolled in the King Schools online private pilot course and the corniness is in full effect.
Spent more time being lectured by these two than any of my college profs but ran into John at a restaurant & couldn't place him for the life of me till I heard his voice. Went over to meet him & he was a great guy.
Youre a lucky one
I remember this when i had 2004 on the computer when i was a kid and i was like I WANT THAT JOYSTICK
Royann Greenwood didnt have the same model but a logitech
Me too
Never thought I'd see these two again. Lots of memories. Did a flight from LA to Tokyo and crashed while landing.
RIP
Miss them

Gosh! My first flight simulator was FS2000. John and Martha flight tutorial voices are slow and calm that 7 year old had great time learning about aviation. Thumbs up to John and Martha!
I had the fd2000 discs in my language
These Guys were my first real Flight Instructors and how it all began for me ..
Oh . This video brings back flight simulation days . Oh I really miss those days
Nearly had a tear i still remember getting scared of thunders in the game when i was 5 :D
good old memories, in MS2000, when there was no youtube, used to watch these 2 over and over.
this is how ASMR was born
Their voices r great
Well well...LOVE your space documentaries and had a look at what else you have up. OMG i haven't seen these two since FS2000 when I was first starting to fly. Now a 777 captain with over 10,000 hours but still had to watch 😂👍
Makes me feel like a kid.
"You can press the F2 and F3 keys to control throttle, and it kind of makes sense.... " 🤣
Aka - Buy our official joystick.
Oh the nostalgia, I loved watching these videos in the game back then.
thats just can be great thinking theses activities never can be erased in the control of state and a lot of proofs about
Man i miss the old times
And so do i
Pensar que con estos señores empezó mi aventura en la aviación. Tenia 14 años y me enamore. Hoy con 34 años, 7000 horas en a320 y volando por todo america puedo decir que tome la mejor decisión.
They've should done fs2020
Here they are, a generation apart, helping new comers get adapted to Flight Simulator 2002/2004
And here I am, flying in P3D v4.5 and FSX, the thing is both them and me enjoy it
Guess Boomer and Gen-Z crap may still be there, but aviation has quite remained the same for everyone
You're still playing FSX? 😳
I miss their videos, they werent available in fsx
My first flight simulator game
Oh the memories!!
Hahahaha, I remember this!
our flightplans at Morocoo fs9 ...was includes in the number phone before because it's not at 2000 year but before we have used informatic...there is maybe a system wich can be control ed by our authorities in the case of IAM and his development
I want them to return to Microsoft’s new sim.
That’d be awesome. I hear they are still making videos.
Homemade Documentaries They still are making videos. I’ve used them for all my real world flight training.
@@JacksonTyler Can confirm. I'm in their instrument instructor ground course and they just updated a video a few days ago. The IGI stuff is still older though.
These guys were way ahead of their time. Now look at msfs or p3d or xplane .
i used both FSX and FS2004 just to have fun
That music is so luxury at the beginning. I need to dig out my old IBM Thinkpad with Windows XP and install FS2004 and my Microsoft Joystick.
The best part is you can get everything you just mentioned (except the IBM PC and MS Joystick obviously) for free these days!
@@ECEAaronXavierLobo
Which is free ?
I installed it on windows 10
For some reason, starting this in-game video carshes MSFS2004! I guess it's incompatible with Windows 7 20+ years later! 😔
Anyone know what music was used in this intro video?
Little control inputs. hmm... Just use back pressure on controls and have fun realistic flying.
It's just can be more than 10000 flights and flightplans used... Evolution was continued in the case we found a lot of miscelaneaous files just can explain the build of virtuals toys where it can be see at Simviation or avsim sites
I would always try to fly the helicopters and fail lololol
(7:55) Well I was certainly shocked to learn that you can decrease your altitude by lowering your throttle. _(In all honesty I thought you just point down...sooo...derp, yay learning.)_
On the other hand...if you increase the throttle and engage the Slew/Noclip option...you can make the airplane do some PRETTY exciting things!
Thats the way you descent a 747
I wonder if they will come back on the new MFS which announced its trailer few months ago
That would be insane! I hope so.
Probably dead by now they looked old then
@@bobbyrayofthefamilysmith24 Still kickin' ;)

@@Bogeyatyour6YT bloody hell they must be about 100 years old by now. Good on em
are they still alive?
+BILALGAMING TV Yes. In fact, they still make new instructional videos for aviation to this day.
I literally just saw a CZcams Ad featuring John King giving flying advice a few minutes ago in another video. I was like holy shit thats the guy from fs9. Now im in a rabbit hole of looking up more info on these guys and thats how I ended up here.
@@cblasterx what?!
Oh yeah, you can check their account "King school", they still make videos
Yes they still are
I have playing simulations and making hard flightplans all over the world...i am thinking about one thing : if our nation great thats can protect our data ans used by oprofessionels better than us
Look the same instructor in FSX!!
I think FSX uses Rod Machado
@@airbusman5514 He appears at the end of the video
in the spirit of the laws ...contract the "cluff "explain java system never can be used at hospitals our airports and there is no danger to use fs9 of microsoft...
