With the /w/ for “radio”: If I am not mistaken, I think I hear /r/ . Isn’t ‘radio” one of the loan words from English you mentioned in the beginning. If that is the case the sound shouldn’t change at all in Kwéyòl. It should probably remain “radio” with an /r/ instead of the /w/. Correct me if I am wrong.

@@alexpierre1969 language evolution ! Initially R was not considered part if the créole alphabet however people unintenionally use words like hanng spranng etc Wadyo and radyo are both used based on where the speaker is from. I say wadyo . Just wanted to shed light on the inclusion of the R in the alphabet. Thanks again

You contradict yourself with your spelling “Créole”. That’s wrong! With the /k/ sound and given that /c/ never appears alone, without /h/, you must write “Kwéyòl”. Please be consistent in giving viewers the correct information.

Vedeo not very helpful. If you write what you hear, as you instructed, then you should write ‘kweyol’ (accented (e) and not ‘Creole’ as to have it.

If after 8 minutes this is your only critic I think the vidéo WAS helpful as it allowed you to decifer kwéyòl and créole, among others I'm sure. Good job!

@@kwenkweyol7994 Unfortunately this is not my only critique. First, the first quiz is not valid as to seems to assess language knowledge rather than Kweyol writing, which was the objective of your video. Second, sounding out the letters without an actual word example on screen that viewers can relate too, complicates understanding. On the whole, at least for me, the vedeo wasn’t very helpful. That isn’t to say everything was bad; it wasn’t. I just mean it can be improved.
