It seemed pretty believable because there's a very specific workout regimen she was doing But there are a few magazine articles that are also suggesting the same thing but it won't allow me to attach the link on CZcams.

The dance she does in the black suit is her spin off of the dance from The Joker movie because Liam said that was his favorite movie to watch with Miley. Hence the wet hair and suit, the joker always had the slick hair.

Yes, agreed. I absolutely do not like over produced music and so many singers who have great voices are all about show casing their voice so that people are wowed. Well, they aren’t wowing me with the music and I’ve never bought their albums - I might like a song or two but no way am I dropping money just to listen to a voice. (They not also wowing me with their voices because I care more for being moved and the vibe of the music than going Wow!)

Dude, Miley is 30 lol, but yeah, she has been growing a lot. No surprise, though, she's been surrounded by huge, influential artists her whole life and been doing this since she was a kid. What is truly surprising is how well she has managed to grow up to become a sane, free, independent, rockstar of a woman after all the backlash she received for doing her own thing. She overcame all of that and the outcome is incredible. You have to check out her live backyard sessions, you can see how she grows musically over the years and the types of music she's influenced by, so you get to understand the directions she's always taken. I became a fan of Miley by doing that: going through her personal favs she covered and then listening to her latest albums. She's truly fascinating. And her voice is out of this world, so there's also that.

I don't like Miley, never have. I'm a European, so this whole Hannah Monatana hype...don't care. And I'm 49. But. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS SONG! You know why? Because it's a bit pop that my gen can relate to, it's simple but cool, lifts me up and makes me wanna dance. And after a divorce and two shitty relationships I love the empowerment and self love philosopy this song is about. Yeah, I don't want to endure bad relationships, I don't want to suffer and cry, I've supported myself my whole life, I'm still kinda pretty, smart, free and happy!!! Not all songs are musical masterpieces. Some of the biggest hits just manage to read the room.

Miley is amazing. She really speaks to me, she's been through so many terrible experiences and came out on top. And if somebody doesn't like her music, you can't deny she has an absolutely incredible voice.
That was the truth of her life. Miley’s ex-husband and her built a house in “Malibu” and they were living happily until a tragic happened. The house caught fire and she lost few of her adopted dogs. She was devastated and things started falling apart for her and her partner after that.
This song is definitely one that will get better once the album releases and we hear it with the other songs. Please do a reaction to her album Plastic Hearts. That album is a rock album and it definitely has some slappers on it.

First of all: I loved how you dissected the song and the video and gave some input of your own.
At the end you said something in the lines of: “I don’t like songs that are clearly following a formula that is supposed to speak to the masses” and while I don’t disagree with you, I wanna point out that there a millions trying to copy a formula and many failing at it miserably. It’s easy to say: “oh that is so likable, it has no character” while the art form behind it is exactly that: getting as close to perfect as possible, so that is speaks to as many people as possible. Does that make sense? There are so many components to a pop song, also regarding its video, its marketing, the interviews behind them, the speculation, the public’s response to it - I wouldn’t just pass it off as “shouldn’t interest me” but as something you might wanna look more into? 😊 Pop is not just pop. There are many sub-genres with many artists going from moderate to experimental. I think this has been a wonderful release from start to finish and I applaud to her, her team and the producers who made this work of art. I loved the reference to the Bruno Mars song, the story behind it and how she turned it into a cohesive, easy-to-understand piece of music. I’m not a music critic, but I assume this could become her biggest hit to-date.

Honestly, I have never been a fan of Miley Cyrus. She has never resonated with me on any level. This song, however, just changed E.V.E.R.Y.T.H.I.N.G! Your reaction and analysis is great.
