I was 18 when this song came out (btw one year before Miley was born) and I danced to it a hundred times. It meant so much to me. She tried the mainstream path. But in my opinion, it's not her thing. Rock and Country are her thing. That's where she excels and she's done so many excellent rock cover versions in the last couple of years to prove it. All of them were great and this one might very well be her masterpiece until now.
