Yeah I’m new to the channel now a week. Not a farmer but from the country side. Co Donegal Ireland. Just like watching the farming videos and the big machines
Cannot believe those lads just drove straight through that barley. Surely they felt guilty whilst driving through it?! Didn’t even think to stick to the tram lines. What a joke. Nonetheless, great vid today, thanks for sharing
Some people only think about themselves and only about what they want to do and only about just right now and not a second ahead. They legit can´t keep it in mind that there are other people with other wishes and other needs who deserve consideration. To them, other people are npc´s or ...decoration. Cautionary thought of the day: Many of those people hold driver´s licenses...
Those guys would probably have no idea that was a crop, just a field they had been told to put a fence round where they are going to build houses! There is huge ignorance of how farming works from people that live in cities. Not their fault just how it is.
@@johnwarwick4105 Not much to do with cities, in my personal experience. I live rather rural but people here are pretty disconnected from farming anyways. Buddy of mine recently drove with a trailer full of cattle when a car cut him off so bad he had to pretty much perform an emergency braking. Several broken legs and other injuries. 3 heads of cattle were put down then and there by a vet. Can´t brake a livestock trailer like you can a trailer full of canned beans.... Nothing to do with city or no city, where i live. I figure it´s more the fact that in modern farming only 2- 5 people are needed to farm everything for kilometers around. So in a percentage of the population, almost nobody is involved in farming anymore. Not like 30 yrs ago where there were many more farms with vastly fewer hectares each, the farmers almost went from door to door to get the children to come and work on the farm during harvest and earn a couple coins...
Hi , greetings from New Brunswick, Canada. Enjoying your daily videos. I’ve being off work as I dislocated my right shoulder. Your videos are keeping me sane!
Regards the flail on the 403 you control the speed using the inching pedal, keep the revs up and control your speed with your left foot. It won’t have the oil flow anyway,so no point bothering.
Hi Olly, great video, shame about the dryer snags. carting bales all day selling some off the field. Did food shop today, seems short of chilled salad dips etc, fruit juices and water. Finding better to get up early and walk the dogs. You take care and hope the maze all goes to plan, thanks. 30c here East Devon.
Put a load of wood chips down for the paths If it’s wet. 29 degrees in Suffolk and sticky but had a fly by for a local farmers funeral from a B17 bomber so that was pretty cool!
31.4 Celsius in Aramagh northern Ireland on Thursday, l follow your Connell every day, l am from Carrickfergus in Northern ireland, l am a retired pensioner and love machinery diggers and tractors
It's like field of dreams , build it and they will come . You built the channel, everyday, and now they coming. 18.1. Far play man , 100k subs will happen soon enough. You deserve them. 👍
41 degrees Celsius here in Chico Northern California.. running about 50% I have something growing in my brain and it’s effecting my vision now all from a fall off a John Deere 9520rx a year and a half ago. Machinery Calendar or maybe one of the 12 best outrows! Oh ya don’t let the idiots get to you or your staff.. from what I see your staff have a great boss and a boss who has great staff!
Hi Olly, I seen that guy from the NFU pull into your field and I thought it was a fly tipper so I pulled across the gateway to block him in... Then I seen the machines further up the field and felt a right t$t 😂😂 Good video again mate 👍
I know this might be a bit late for the edit for today’s video but it’s my birthday and saw you did shoutouts for people and I’ve really being enjoying your videos👍
Wednesday I was mowing hay, with no air conditioning in the tractor. I also had a fan belt come off, all fixed now then my other tractor ran out of hydraulic oil it's got a leak. I have got help to finish the baling tomorrow, before the weather turns very wet. Wednesday was around the 29 degree Thursday was around 26 here in Cornwall.
I had a T&J haulage turn up for wheat today as soon as the driver jumped out the cab I shouted Olly blogs at him he laughed and new what I was on about
I think it was about 16deg in Aberdeenshire but at home in Pembrokeshire it was 30+deg.. Your crops seem to be way ahead compared to some, that header on your new combine looks the biz..
Time to charge those fencers for the damage to the crop, gotta be a grands worth of damage there minimum by the time you take everything into account, I know I would have been a lot more angry than you seemed. According to the met office it only reached 27C here in Essex today, my thermometer hit 31 in the shade and my car said it was 30 at 3pm, my metal workshop on the other hand hit 45 while I was re lining my toolbox... so I said sod that for a game of laughs and gave up lol.
should have got those fools who drove over your barley to make the path through the sunflower maze !!! with a sugar beet hook !!!! If brains were dynamite ????
Hi Olly just a thought back in Day 396 video you had some gifts sent to you from L J Creative Studios they might be able to help you with your calendar 👍
Not sure if temp here in North Kent but it was bloody hot again🥵 Can you give address for the sunflower maze? Olly, my wife and children may be interested and they're near Manchester visiting friends. Those Wallys putting the fence up, you'd think they'd have a little common.
For the calendar, use the machines that was used the most that month for the pictures. Just means a bit more than just randoms. Also a brief description on make and model 👍
Manitou driver has no sense at all - hope he got told!! Still 32 degrees in Kent. Mowing with my John Deere today absolutely faultless - fantastic machine. Very strong 97% today all going well.
Hi Olly what size is your batch drier and what do think of them??? Im buying one that runs on gas hopefully it’s a step forward. You cut your wheat yesterday and I think it will be 4 to 5 weeks before I cut mine. Im 110% today as I’m starting cutting my winter barley tomorrow 😎
Back to normal life today now that my isolation is over 👍 went to the river thames which is right by me with my friends and was swimming and messing around all day in the 30 degree heat
