Every time you start that "H", I can close my eyes and see and hear my grandfather starting his, and I remember the smells of his tractor shed!
Love this!
❤qpq4@@mollytheda9273
That’s the same with my grandfather I love all his tractors
I'm right there with you. My Uncle's got rid of his H while I was away in SE Asia on a Government sponsored field trip. It didn't seem like a big deal then but it didn't take me long to realize what a loss it was. Here's to our Grandfather's who worked hard every day and lived the best lives they could.
Same here but it was my uncle! He had three Hs and a 424, later a 684. I still remember when it was hay cutting time, my uncle and boys, my two cousins, would be running the road together with those farmalls and ganging up on some fields with sickle bar mowers. They could flat lay down some hay that way.
There aren’t many modern tractors that will even be in existence at 84 years of age. It’s a joy to see the old iron working!
Hi Pete I've been watching your channel for about 4 years now and I would like to say thank you for all of the knowage and memories I have watching your channel
I am 81 and certainly don’t look as good as that tractor. But then no one has lovingly restored me!
Beef in the back seat, feed in the back and a beautiful Hilary in the front seat..😀
Hey everyone who've been watching Pete's farm videos since the beginning, and man, does his farm feel familiar now? It's like you've been there yourself! Pete's a master at turning everyday farming into entertaining and informative works of art. It all seems effortless, but we all know it's not. Remember when Pete had to constantly adjust his GoPros to get those incredible angles? Now imagine setting up cameras, driving the tractor, stopping to adjust angles again, all while filming. It's a one-man show, and the finished product flows so smoothly you wouldn't guess the work behind it. Speaking of one-man shows, who can forget Pete flying the drone while driving the tractor? Looked easy cutting hay like that, right? Thankfully, his new drone can follow him hands-free, like in this latest episode. This episode was perfect for me. I got a virtual ride on a classic tractor, learned some amazing gardening tips from Pete's expertise, and all while feeling like I was right there on the farm. Pete, you truly bring the farm experience to life for your audience. Thanks for everything you do! Dan in Oregon
Hi Pete, loved watching those gorgeous calves having a fun frolic..very cute 😂😂❤
Thanks Pete and Hilary! I liked this video a lot. I love all your videos but this one has a little bit of everything I like about your farm. But above all 2 things, the crazy running of the calves that are so happy to be in new pastures and your conversation at the end. I don't skip a single one of your videos and please never stop making those dad jokes, they are the spark of the video! Until next time, take care!
Pete you are so proud of your cows and they are attached to you 😊
Many memories come back of the time when I was young and used to spend time at my aunt and uncles farm in Iowa. he was strictly a Farmall man, and I remember working with him and my cousins on the farm. I was born a city kid, but I always felt like I should have been born on a farm. Thanks for all you and Hilarie do for us Pete. I never miss an episode.
Hey Pete
I can't speak for anyone else, but I love these midweek videos.
Amazing morning when I wake up to “Just a few Acres Farm”. Thank you Pete.
Your dedication in the field, garden, and freezer demonstrates your commitment to self-sufficiency and love for sustainable living. Your hard work and resourcefulness inspire admiration. And I am Floating Village Life
Yeah Pete, you are 'Outstanding in the field"!
I know Peter picked a peck of pickled peppers, How many did you eat, Peter? LOL I have fond memories of my Uncles mowing the fields, working in the gardens for my aunts and talking to the cows and pigs. You have reminded me of so many good ones. Watch out for those pesky pests! Oh I almost forgot... HI PATTI!!!!!
Patty is the only one that stopped, looked at the camera and smiled. Thanks, you guys.
Thank you, Pete, you are a little bit of sanity in an insane world. Keep doing what you do!!
Pete glad to see your feeling better n back at it with your beautiful wife very nice to start the day with a just a few acres farm vid thanks ✊🏿💪🏿✌🏿
Launching stack cover cans... you need a T-Shirt that says: "Easily Amused" for those moments of simple pleasure. God bless you Pete/Hilarie.
Good morning Pete & her “ highness” 😆
I could listen to that H purr all day.
Have a great 4th !!!
Your jack of all trades today. Thanks for sharing this with us
Grandpa used to say a dry year will scare ya a wet year will starve ya.
The more tractors you have the more maintenance costs but the fun of running around on all that gear you have restored would be absolutely priceless 👌👍
😮 love how ezra follows you two around. Gardening seems so simple with you guys
Pete, I always enjoy when you wear Texas A&M shirts as I live in the town where it is located. I also enjoy when you wear University of North Texas where I went to school. Just makes me smile. 😊
Thanks for the bonus video this week. It makes my day to see Patty, and you as well.
PETE, YOUR DEVOTION TO YOUR FARM AND YOUR DEVOTION TO DOING WHAT IS RIGHT IS SO REWARDING TO YOUR VIEWERS . THANK YOU FOR THAT.
I appreciate the square corners with the sickle mower, shows a good operator
Chasing the cloud shadows on the fields. Whimsical and surreal farming over the the hills and dales. Beautiful Planet Earth.
You always remind me of the Pied Piper when you move the cattle. 😂
All I can say Pete, you're definitely a farmer outstanding in his field! Whether rustling Titus or his girlfriends, mowing & baling hay, and gardening tips. Thank you.
Thanks for sharing Pete and Hillary 😊
Pete your video title for some reason sent my brain into a song to the tune of Clementine
In the field In the garden and the freezer cold as ice is a farmer who`s a charmer and his wife she`s really nice
Thats as far as I got before deciding to quit
Hi Pete & Hillary, thanks for sharing life on your farm , it is so enjoyable to see your traditional methods, and please keep up the jokes 😂
Good morning, Pete! Such a nice clean 🚜. Enjoy your day! So fun watching everything and the calfs.
beautiful 84 years old! love the content. please keep the videos coming/
relaxing watching you mow!
I enjoy seeing the cattle especially Patty. Happy 4th to your family from ours.
When I mow my yard in rural PA the swallows do their aerobatics. Love watching them.
Those little birds are loving the bugs you’re kicking up.
Hey Pete..I look forward for your jokes..it makes my day.. thank you 😂😂😂😂
Top of the morning to ya Pete! You get that young QUEEN a THRONE to set on!!!!!
Pete, I love seeing the hay cutting and baling, and clipping pastures. It was some of my favorite things to do as a younger person. Time and genetics have not been kind to me over the years, so that's part of my life is pretty well done, but it makes me smile to see and hear the old tractors run, and the gorgeous drone video of the pastures and fields being worked. I know it's a lot of extra work on top of a tough job, but I do enjoy it so. Thanks for making a whole lot of us happy.
I like a lot of the other stuff, too. Life on a farm makes for some really good TV..
I'm sure you got several Texas A&M teeshirts, and I am one of the ones who sent one to you. I've seen you wear one three times now. I would love to go to your farmer's market but it is over 1,600 miles from me in Texas. We've had so much rain in June that our grass is very tall. It needs to be cut, but it is so hot out there. I do hope we'll get more rain in the summer months though. You can't say your tractor is 84 years old because you completely rebuilt it. Only the frame is that old, the internal parts are either brand new or rebuilt. I love your channel! Thanks for making these videos.
You and your beautiful wife are an inspiration to us who what your video's. Such a pleasure to see you and Hillary working together.
Love the 84 year old. The drone shots of it in the field with the surrounding landscape are gorgeous.
I love to hear that H. Thank you for your work.
Pete, I am in complete agreement with you. I clean Tractor always runs better and to me cutting a hayfield is not work. That is pure enjoyment. Have a good day.
As long as all the equipment is running smooth it's a joy
You’re a good man, Pete. Thank you for sharing your story with us.
Your beef looks really good. Clipping your fields really helps the pastures come back stronger. Enjoy your videos🙂
Thank you Pete. Watching your videos is a great source of enjoyment for me. As we approach the Fourth of July, Independence Day, and watching your video, I am reminded of how awesome our country is, even if there is political and social division and instability. We are still the greatest country on Earth and I love the virtue and knowledge you exude that supports my belief. Farming is a lost art and apparently coming under attack across the country, if we are to believe other post.
Back 4 seconds? Now that’s funny! 😂
My 1875 clock took offense and struck 2 times to tell me so. No kidding!❤🤣 I could only hold my head & exclaim , "Oh Jeez!" Absolutely loved this entire video. Thank you Pete & beautiful Hilarie❣️🙏👍
Thank you, Pete. I have always loved watching a sickle bar mower in action. Something about the way the vegetation falls. Never had one of my own. Just a wish I coulda. Great photography. The calves playing and Hilary's pedestal were terrific. Carry on lad.
The calves are the cutest! Thank you for another enjoyable video!
Hillary a woman outstanding in her field!
Pete and Hillary , you always make me smile ❤❤
Jokes !!!!!!!! I love them ! Blessings !!!
You are, as always, out, standing in your field. 🙂
Hi Pete and Hillary
I didn't realise how satisfying watching grass been cut with the old tractor and tools
It is very satisfying to watch the sickle bar just zip through the tall grass and weeds and lay them down.
I was at the 4h fair in south bend Indiana and they had so maybe internationals there it was so cool to see, I saw a farmall 560, 450, 240, BM I think, A, H, C, and an M, they all looked so cool. Ever since starting to watch this CZcams channel I've fallen in love with these factors
Love the Dad-Jokes!!
Great video Pete....
Joy is getting harder and harder to find!
Your videos give me joy!!!!
Those little calves running, just so wholesome.
Thank you....❤
Pete i have been watching from the beginning, the stuff never gets old, You have such a passion for what you do and so knowledgeable. love the tractors and animals...
Hi Pete! Love seeing the H out working. When I was a little kid, my grandfather had an H and he and the neighbor with a John deere A, would race each other on a country road. The H would always spit and sputter like yours just did and my grandfather would lose. He could never get it to run in road gear no matter how much he and my dad would work on it. Thanks for bringing back the great memories!
I Appreciate the EZRA cameos.
"Look at all those calves running around." -- would be a perfect time to resurrect "Run, run, run, run, run!"
My father-in-law who has passed on was a Signal Maintainer for the CN railroad. Every summer he would come home with a couple of 6 quart baskets of blackcaps that were along the rail line on his maintenance route.
You get a great workout Pete. Enjoy your insights of gardens and watching the calves have fun. Outstanding editing and providing a story of clocks when they are hungry. Thanks.
It was glad to see old "Hercules" out of the barn and back in the field again. Love that H. If you have any rain you don't need Mr. Pete, send it south to North Carolina. My garden desperately needs rain and some of the farmers here are already feeding hay. I'm glad to see you finally provided St. Hilarie with a proper pedestal. I hope you and your family have a great Independence Day!
“Lead immunization” I’m stealing that one haha😂
Very happy cows, they definitely love you 😊
Good job Pete I enjoyed the baby calf’s running around in the pasture and also the overhead videos have a blessed day.
Love that you keep the old tractors working! Thanks for the video 👍
Big sigh... such a good and satisfying video. Just what I needed after a long, hectic day. Thank you for making the end of my day peaceful and relaxing.
Back for seconds 😂😂😂 Great stuff today, Pete. Keep eating those peppers.
84 years old and that H still looks and runs great!!
Thanks for posting Pete
Hi Pete and Hillary Iv been watching your vidios for the past 4 to 5 years and find them very interrestig I like the way you farm your land and exsplane every thing both you and Hillary do. And its good to see all your old tractors done up and in very good running order with out missing a beat. Cheers Alan from New Zealand
Love watching the swallows also. Just think of all the bugs they are eating. Also Hillary does a fine job flying the drone. Great pictures from it. 😊
Most relaxed farmers around
Neat farm. Cutting the field awsome. Tractors so well taken care of. ❤
Love the channel Pete! Thanks for taking the time to make these videos. Love the drone shots too!
I just wanna say you running the H in today’s video brought back many fond memories of my father and his tractors
Pete you Are So proud of your cows and they Are attached to you
Thanks Pete!!
Thanks and GOD BLESS
Your Farmall H sound great, it takes me back to my dad's tractor, back in the 60's and 70's. I miss those years my dad and his H, I wish I still had them both. Good advice on the garden insect and care. Always love those aerial shots, gives an awesome perspective. Thanks Pete, I hope you have a nice day!
I live right in the middle of Omaha and my neighbor has a 1954 super H that belong to his grandpa, it has never been painted, and looks great, obviously was in a garage most of its life. He also has a 1950 model a John Deere that belong to his wife’s grandpa. And both tractors run really well.
I am aways amazed how accommodating you are for your many fans. Very much enjoy your videos.
thanks for sharing your day with us
Patty stopped for a profile coming through the gate. Thank you Pete.
I love mowing with my Minnie Mo Z too. I was clipping under the fences with it with my New Idea sickle mower and I thought about you Pete if you were doing the same thing. Your MD has definitely grown on me in a very positive way.
The best side to morning coffee is Pete and Hillary. Now I need to be like a clock and go back four seconds. 😊😂😊 Instagram here I come. ❤
As always mate thanks for sharing your experience with us all great video thanks
Love it Mr Pete and Hilary 🎉. Thankfully you are feeling better 🐦.
Oh Pete, I can just taste those blackcaps! Haven’t had them in over 20 years. Remembering my aunt Ethel’s blackcap pie! Yum!
My favorite channel. Always look forward to new videos. I’m a corporate pilot and will make my way up that way this summer to visit the farmers market. Keep up the awesome work Pete and Hilary and the kids. Huge fan from Telluride Colorado.
Yes it cool to see you two Peace out
I clip our pastures as well. It's oddly satisfying.
Good luck with drainage project!
I love it when you start those old tractors up, it's such a relaxing sound and sight😊😊
I love the look of the buff-colored calves.
