Love it
Boy do I miss seeing that p320 rip!
Killer bro
will the t.rex mount work with viper venom?
I love trex arms but let’s be honest they been out of stock on these for a few months now and they need to get more control with their vendors ..But I found that the arisaka offset mount is actually a better alternative because it allows you to either run your mount on 30 degrees or 45 degrees..it does cost a little more but I think its worth it and a better product. I’m glad I went with it on my setup instead of the trex arms
berniedmj1 that’s crazy cause I’m still waiting on my POF 415 edge burnt bronze Pistol. I ordered it back in June and still waiting ...but yeah I know there is a big shortage on a lot of things ..I did get my POF Revolution within a couple weeks of me ordering it though and that was in burnt bronze as well
berniedmj1 cflgunandtactical.com you can place your order on there website they are the number one distributor so when come in from POF they will ship to you
What trigger is that on the opening scene
Great vid bro, BlackIronGunner is the real deal!!
Ty sir
lmao great vid I just finished watching TREX arms review on offset mounts as well. Perfect timing.
Dude they’re video was awesome mine was just real quick lol
Same 😂
Where can I get that sturdy bulletproof barrier? 2:49
Jk.
Great shooting there Tex.
Looking to do a similar setup my self. Got a Vortex Crossfire II 3-9 and I want a put a canted micro red dot with a rise.
Those T Rex Arms mounts look good but they have mixed reviews.
How has this one held up?
Which Deltapoint Pro did you use (2.5 or 6 MOA Dot)?
Currently building a Recce style rifle, was wondering your thoughts on having the offset dot forward of the optic or mounted behind the optic? I see you running it both ways in this video.
I like it forward personally. Doesn’t get any powder burn off on it etc and seems a little easier to acquire
@@blackirongunner oh cool, makes sense
Any blockage with the mounted light.??
Hey who made your background music?
How much does the mount weighs?
Which reticle do you have for your vortex razor 1-6? I'm about to pull the trigger on one of these for my 11.5 BCM, but not sure which to go with or if it even matters that much.
Very happy with it extremely simple it’s the Jm-1 with just the crosshairs and hash marks
what's the angle of the cant on the trex offset?
you dont seem to angle your rifle that high compared to other offset dot videos I've seen.
35 degrees
Hell yeah, Devil! Waiting on my PA ACSS 1-6. Curious as to why you chose the vortex over the acss. Love the chevron reticle like the trijicon we used to have in the sandbox. Killer vid, brother.
Yut!
Sgt Z, Fighting Fifth Marines
The optic clarity, eyebox, and side to side image of the vortex is leaps and bounds over the PA ACSS, even their 1k$ model.
Because it is a way better optic in every way, shape, and form....
The hell kinda question is that lol
🦖
cool
Does the throw lever get in the way of the offset sight?
Well not in this case because he put the dot up front, if it was mounted in the back could possibly be an issue
smooth af intro bro. this looks to be a requirement for fixed and lpvo.
Definitely
Good review? There was literally zero quality information in this video.
@@blackirongunner you barely have recoil when shooting. You using any mods?
Man, you are DEFINITELY a pro.. Holy shit that was SOLID shooting.
Nice! Just saw the trex arms video. Man! your old p320 😍😣. It's crazy (not trying to offend you) but you look smaller in this vid! It threw me off for a second haha.
Dude Forsure I’m always smaller in the summer haha not hurt by it I can tell I gained a lot of weight but working on that now
I see you have your red dot mounted on the handguard. I see people all the time saying not to mount optics on the handguard, but since it's that close to the receiver (and therefore tightly clamped to the barrel nut), I can't imagine it would affect accuracy that much at CQB distances, right?
I mounted 29x56 scope on the handguard and the shots were within 5 inches at 110 yds. Most 2-3 inches, even grouping.
Should be accurate enough.
mounts are not in stock and i want 2 aimpoint ones
How do you get all that steel ammo to run in your AR?
Just depends on the gun, my AR runs steel all day with no problem, they can run dirty really well, but I recommend regular cleaning
Why have a 1-6 with an offset red dot. That’s sort of the purpose of the 1x.
Dave Lpz takes a couple seconds when your on 3x 6x to come off the rifle, dial down the optic back to 1x and come back on the optic. It’s much faster to have a offset dot.
Lol bro that bad boy doesn’t move when you shoot... obviously it had a lot to do with holding the gun tight to your body. Does the recoil mitigation have a lot to do with the muzzle device too? And man I hope he comes out with a picatinny version. Great shooting as always brother.
Yes definetely fundamentals are huge the muzzle device does help as well I run a surefire close tine warcomp
blackirongunner thanks for the info! Much appreciated
Room for backup sights but no back up sights...
Because he has 2 optics... The offset red dot is as much of a backup as it is an optional primary...
And both optics are tough, reliable, proven systems in their own rights...
You dont need a 3rd damn option unless you buy shit gear for the scope, and offset dot...
@@mrdark9916 your opinion but optics no matter how they are built break at some point. My opinion always run back up aights as a fall safe. Batteries dont last forever just my opinion of course
@@jackdareapaiam94 Yes, thats why he is running 2 optics... Both super reliable, proven systems..
And the scope has an etched reticle, and the Red dot has thousands and thousands of hours of battery life lol.
Breaking 1 of those optics in general CAN happen, but pretty much doesnt. Breaking both?? during a single engagement, as a civilian?? isnt happening unless you get hit with a IED, and if it is strong enough that it ruins both optics your already a puddle at that point.
I get what your saying, and i agree. But in this case, he has a reliable back up sight option, one that is bomb proof in its own right, as well as a primary optic that has an etched reticle so batteries are moot anyways in an emergency.
We are pretty much on the same page here i think
@@mrdark9916 yea we are i just like having a extra layer ya know just in case lol
Hey if it makes you happy that's cool...!!! just can't understand why would you add a micro red dot on the offset if you're running a vortex razor HD 1x6. You can run it at 1x and it's basically a red dot and as fast as such and if you actually need to reach out juts turn it to 6x as fast as possible. For me that's just following a trend and only justify if you're running a 3x or more power optic on a DMR platform.
Not a hater... just saying 🤷🏽🤣🤪
I’ll have a video in the future to show some data and times thanks for the feedback 👍
Dude... This video.. 🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️
Eh this thing didn't impress me anymore than a normal offset 45 really.
