@@bass779 if someone were to build a ghost gun and sell it that wouldn't be stolen. Perhaps an officer is cool and finds a way to purchase a few ir lasers off the record. Anyways you can't steal from the government. Youre really just getting some of the funds back that were taken from your paycheck.
Word of advice: I ran the Radian charging handle "with the holes" (I think it's technically called the SD, but I could be wrong on that) on an 11.5" SBR for a while, and it didn't do much to mitigate gas. I do like Radian's charging handles for general purpose use, but if you really want to cut the gas, I'd suggest the PRI Gas Buster instead. PRI is also "clone correct," for what that's worth.
Also, don't let anyone tell you that a 10.5" barrel is incorrect for a Mk18. The OG Mk18 was developed by LMT working with Crane, and had a 10.5" barrel; Colt complained that it violated their M4 sole-source contract in force at the time, and LMT got cut out. For whatever reason, Colt switched it to a 10.3, but a 10.5 is still somewhat historically correct (though more so for the Mod 0 pattern rifles, with the KAC rail and FSB). I carried one a bit in the Navy-the Mod 0 variety-and didn't know or care enough about such minutia at the time to bother checking the exact barrel length.

Thank you for your service! Nice share. Frankenstein for sure..lol Front end onpoint. Runing flow through suppressor on my mk18, really helped tame Ejection patterns. Vltor M16 lenght tube with springco m16 green spring with h3 buffer makes it shoot babysoft. Geissele lower & trigger and sectors. Not a fan of the upper & Lower combo but I respect keeping matching manufacturer upper lower Receiver sets so I get it for lock-up and fitment. I hate it when you mix up Receivers and get lots of wiggle slope and have to revert to rubber o-rings to tighten the fitment. Cool build thanks for the share...PS I'm not a cloner snob but also enjoy retro builds For nostalgic purposes.

Semper Fi brother. I have built an M4 and M4A1. They are not clone correct but they are mine. The M4A1 is my battle rifle and was built for a suppressor and to keep it in the fight. Will be putting an echo trigger in it after the holidays. I will also be building my own mk18 next year. Or atleast start.

Love your setup I'm currently running a DD mk18 with rc2 , exps3 and g33 magnifier, looking to swap the lower out for an lmt Mars ambi lower, I'm trying to decide what ir lazer I'm wanting to run with weather a dbal or a peq15, I'm also running an elbit WP pvs14
I absolutely love my mk18(DD) upper, i just swap back and forth between that and my BCM 11.5 BFH upper on my Spikes Crusader lower

@@ehlyver4906 i like the ballistics of the 11.5 and feel more comfortable w it out past 200 yards, inside 200 yards id pick the mk18 all day. The mk18 just is a softer shooter in my opinion, i think its due to the weight of the Ris 2 rail and the muzzle device that comes on the mk18

when shooting unsuppressed how does the surefire m600 hold up to the muzzle blast? I'm looking at lights to put on my MK18 and would love to have the m600, but don't want to run it so far back on the rail to clear the muzzle blast. I have a Surefire 3 prong flash hider and a 10.3 in barrel.

Just got my DD MK18 about a week ago. It came with a Holosun AEMS red dot sight on it. I love it. I haven't taken it to the range yet. Now I'm pretty much doing what I do with all of my guns I get, and I'm learning how to field strip them

I just bought a MK18 brand new for 1599. Only reason I bought it is cause of that price. Makes the stamp hurt less. Might even buy an RC2 right now so that way I get them both together.

It's a Daniel Defense RIS II rail, one of the toughest most bomb-proof rails you can get on the market, they are rather pricey though.

I have a 10.5 ballistic advantage that I’ve been trying convince myself to put a RIS II on. Just hate the thought of dropping $450 for a rail even though I know it’s worth every penny
