I just bought the wall mount version of this mirror. (169 Euro) What a nice design ! It makes my bathroom look like a five star hotel ;-) By the way, I'm a (single) guy and to be clear, I use this mirror while shaving my face. The light is good, it turns smoothly on and if you move away from it , it will dim/fade to half power for 30 seconds and then turn off.
Girl, I'm so loving this video. I'm using an ol MAC compact that is filthy.i was worried about the magnification/fun house effect so thanks for going into detail about that. I may have a hold off due to the price. Sigh. You're so great, new subbie!
Just saw this mirror on auction site for $45. Wanted to know why it was worth $200. Even Simplehuman site didn't explain it too well. Thanks, for $45 I will bid on it. If I can't sell it then it's a great gift for my daughter😜
Thinking to buy the simplehuman mirror 5X magnification as a Christmas gift but as a guy I am not very knowledgeable about vanity mirrors. What are the best vanity mirrors on the market? Looking for the best quality one preferably not made in China and cost is not really an issue.
Is it too bright where the glare hurts your eyes? I've been really interested in this but not sure what the difference between this lighted mirror verses a regular lighted mirror. TIA
No, not at all! The light is very comfortable to look at, in my opinion. Even in a dark room, where the mirror is the only light source, it isn't too bright. I find this light to be much more of a natural hue than other lighted mirrors, which casts a more realistic tone on the face, leading to more accurate makeup application, if that makes sense!
My husband got me this for Mother's Day and I couldn't be more greatful he would watch me do my makeup using my phones flash ligh just so I could try to get some "good" lighting lol 😂 I love my mirror aswell love love love it.:-)
Philippa Stevens it stays the same, even when the battery is low! The base will just start blinking red, then the light will turn off after a while, once it's completely dead
theCarleyDiaries oh wow that's great! Have you tried the wide view mirror? I'm not sure between the two options as this one is magnified but the other one is larger and has angled mirrors ?
I don't know how anyone puts on makeup with this mirror. It only lights up the very center of your face, causing shadows just past your brows. It's definitely NOT like daylight. If you're looking for a mirror that will be like an open window like I was, DON'T buy this.

I have thought about the superstar one but not sure if it’s bright enough as haven’t seen it in person and not sure if there are cheaper ones that are just as good. Really looking for one that will be bright enough without shadows and not too magnified. Thanks :)
M Peck Hi, I bought the pro. It’s the one with two sides and an inset small, really close up mirror. I believe it’s a 10x inset. I love having the three options and the mirror is very clear. The problem I have is that I get ready for work early in the a.m. before sunrise and this mirror just doesn’t project the light forward enough. I don’t get a ‘wash of light’ as I thought I would with this mirror. I really don’t know that it is any brighter than a lot of the less expensive ones. I am going to have to get a light to supplement it. Also, I cannot see anything around the mirror it’s really very inconvenient. Maybe the superstar one will be better than the pro. I hope you find one that you like.

i did buy it and i love it, now when i go in the day light i look the same as in front of the mirror, and my make up is adapted to to sunlight
Got mine from QVC for a total of $165. Yes it’s worth it! I got the rose gold. Went on the website and ordered the 20x attachment mirror or $19.99.
I just bought mine this week and it's the same size but mine doesn't go up or down. Oh maybe I need to try it a little harder
