My tip for you is next time toss the bearing in the frezer for a few hours make it cold and they go in like you wouldnt belive! Little grease and you can push it in by hand or very very little force at all! And a hub tamer is the best bearing tool out!
So i'm currently doing the same thing with the Mazda 3. I think I will have to buy a set of those cups. I have a 6 ton press and the bearing didn't seem to care. Sat down with a 3lb hammer and a punch, again, nothing.

You chose right because if you put the bearing in the other way it would have caused a abs fault. Good work

Can't you just leave the knuckles on the car and use a rented bearing press kit to take them out?
You could but it’s only two more bolts and the knuckle is out. It’s almost way easier with the knuckle out
