In Twilight Princess I always like Link’s reaction when he sees its not over yet
I always felt Gohma was a little out of place for the boss of the temple of time and the interesting thing is early trailers showed link being chased by a big spider in cave like structure which implies that gohma had a different place in early version, but was repurposed to the temple boss later on.
Well, we kinda got that experience in spirit tracks

Given what happens after you beat Blizzeta in the previous dungeon, I think the implication is that the giant spider form was the result of the mirror shard's dark power, and the little spider with the way too huge eye was its true form. However, if they wanted that to be the case, especially since all it wanted to do was flee from you after the fact, I think it would have been better if you were awarded the dungeon clear spoils and Midna opens her portal, and then the reveal that it's still alive happens. So you can choose to let it live or not. Well mainly I think it'd be fun to be able to return to the Temple of Time boss room and hear that funny version of the Armogohma boss music as long as you don't kill the little spider.
The silly music that plays as it runs away is just prefect too
Fun fact about Tears of the Kingdom: the Marbled Gohma fight in the fire temple is the most difficult out of all Marbled Gohmas in the game.
You can find a few in the depths(I’ve found at least 3) and those are actually easier fights.
There’s no ceiling in the other areas.
Fair enough, but then again, hun being in the ceiling doesn’t make him that much tougher, as long as you use Yunobu to knock him down.

I think the ceiling part was way easier than the first phase because you need to hit only one leg.

Colgera may be named after Molgera, but it is undeniably a Moldorm fight. Queen Gibdo is the latest Mothula. Mucktorock generates a Gyorg out of sludge to fight.

@@TheDapperDragon OoT and Wind Waker's Gohma's look nothing like spiders so I don't see your point. In most of their appearances they're closer to crabs despite OoT referring to it as an Arachnid which is likely just a translation error.

It has always fascinated me about how gohma has evolved over the years
we have a fire gohma, a rock gohma, a forest gohma now all we need is a water gohma, a lightning gohma and ice gohma

I strongly believe Jalhalla should have returned in Totk as a depths boss that drops poes upon defeat. That would've been awesome
Except considering how Aonuma treats everything else Zelda, it'd like be turned into a bird or something.
@@TheDapperDragonactually by analyzing its shape, it’s boss fight and ability’s. Jalhalla would have perfectly fit in a “shadow temple” in the depths, like a kind of Modified Stalnox which instead of spitting out air he spits out blue fire (poes)
The mission would be about Jalhalla (a mask corrupted by gloom consuming poes to gain power and a body) turning Poes into Imp poes and summoning a massive army of Stal-monsters which invade the Surface during the nights.
But I don’t know who would be the shadow Sage, Vaati? a new character? Kohga? Idk but the idea of 100% depths regional phenomena sounds cool
@@mega6662 A lot of people I've seen on here said that Paya would've been a good candidate, and a good nod to Impa being the Sage of Shadow in _Ocarina of Time_ seeing as she's the granddaughter of _Breath of the Wild_ and _Tears of the Kingdom's_ Impa..........

The marbled Gohma in totk was my favorite boss fight
If the forces do not completely reduce the gauge before Gohma becomes mobile, it counterattacks by spinning around on its back before resuming its attacks. After completely reducing the Weak Point gauge, they can perform a Weak Point Smash that greatly damages Gohma.

The Armogohma scared the almighty shit out of me when I was a kid. And I'm not even an arachniphobe! It just creeped me out.
Armogohma is the best fight of the lot, if only because of Link's "huh" face when it's been reduced to its small eyeball spider form.
Gohma goes from mini boss to normal enemy and then to an actual boss back to enemy and back to a boss.

There are all kinds of creatures about Gohma!
TP Gohma was the creepiest (a giant tarantula crawling aroubd) and coolest ( due to the dominion rod) and funniest (the final phase) for me

Marbled Gohma is probably the goofiest looking iteration. It doesn't even look like an arachnid, it looks like a giant clam on arthropod legs.

I like how link didn’t get hit a single time in any of the fights, but then in the last one in totk he gets blown up by his own bomb arrow at the end.

Ghoma boss idea! Ghoma has multiple eyes, one main eye and a few small ones. Ghoma keeps his main eye closed and watches link with the others. Link has to shoot out the other eyes leaving Ghoma to need to use his main eye to see link. Stabbing the only eye to kill Ghoma.

i for one never played the zelda games but i always think gohma is a walking frog spider eye :)
So all of them are one Big Spider thing except for a few, The Twikight Princess one is because of the Shard Fused into a Big Spiders so actually this Spider is many Tiny Spiders (but atleast still Spiders), the Wind Waker one is no Spider at all it is a centipede, and the Tears of the Kongsom one is just Stone that with one 1 which act like a Spider (and one youtuber i watch said Marbled Ghoma looks more like a Crab (?)) 😂
