Interesting how Majora's Mask doesn't have a deep threatening voice like Ganondorf, but instead, it has the voice of a child...a very twisted and drugged up child.
Nah it just copy skullkid's voice, but at the end of the game it just makes some weird sounds that resemble's some kind of laugh or scream
@@antonionatalvenancio6131 Majora is canonically a child though, which was turned into a Mask when the Giants sung the Song of Healing which heals troubled souls.
The child found peace, but it seems that the Mask contained it’s wrath and some malevolent wishes… Wishes strong enough to bring the whole Moon down to destroy Termina.

The fact that Lynels are Ganondorf’s highest ranking troops, and Majora’s Mask is found banished deep within the depths of Hyrule guarded by *FOUR* very powerful Lynels, means that even Ganondorf is afraid of Majora’s power.

I feel like majora is more like a twisted joker than a true force of evil.
When it used a random guy as a puppet, it act like a troublesome kid who loves to create chaos around it. When we fight it, his voice remind more of a kid and his attitude is mocking like (he's running around, ballerina dancing, throwing things at you,etc...).
Majoras fight is probably among my favourite Zelda final bosses, mainly because of how hard it was because I was a stupid kid who didn’t have any sword, or great fairy upgrades so I was forced to get good at this fight, it was agonising, but so satisfying to finally pull of a win after struggling through the game.

I want a sequel. A new place and adventure but revolves around of the Mask being stolen again with the same 3 Day mechanic.
For real. Like, who _is_ Majora? Did they create the mask or was it made in their likeness? Or neither? God, so many unanswered questions.
The only thing we know about the mask is that it was used in ancient hexing rituals, and that begs even more questions.

@@drascia if I remember correctly some of that get's explained in some of the guidebooks? although I may just be remembering the manga. regardless the fact that it emits power enough to essentially turn the mask salesman (just a regular shopkeep in hyrule) into an insane guy that strangles 14 year olds is enough to warrent more story surrounding it.

Nothing I've found in the Canon lore - though I might not have looked deep enough - seems to even imply who Majora may be, and we know next to nothing about the ancient tribe. Majora's Incarnation has a lot of mystery surrounding it as well. Is it an incarnation in terms of being a corporeal form of a deity, or an incarnation as in a physical manifestation of the mask's evil power? It feels like the latter to me, because the mask is the Incarnation's body rather than its face.
I'm also curious about its use in hexing rituals. Was it worn by those who did the hexing, like a shaman? Or was it worn by the victims as a torture device like the All-Night Mask was?

Majora’s mask is my favorite Zelda game. If there ever is a Zelda movie, ocarina of time and majora’s mask would be perfect for it
For as weird as the 3DS remakes generally looked graphically, they _really_ nailed the animation here.
I want another game with majora as the main villain so bad they’re such a fun villain but little js known about them so I’d love to see more lore on them

Majora's Mask is one of my all time favorite titular Villains(and the game as well). While Ganon/Ganondorf is in it for the power of the Triforce and wanting to take over Hyrule, Majora isn't like that. Majora wants to see others suffer in pain and want them to live a painful and hellish life as soon a possible. While Ganondorf takes over Hyrule in after a few years, Majora's Mask can destroy Termina in under 3 FREAKIN DAYS! Even though the Ganon fights are cool and all, I prefer Majora's boss fight and its 3 phases, especially Majora's Incarnation because of how silly and crazy it is. My favorite thing about Majora is that it has the ability to possess its wearer, like the Skull Kid for an example, and also make the the wearer's voice more echoey, which is also something the mask did to Skull Kid. I really hope Majora makes more appearances in future Zelda games, instead of being an easter egg. Hee, hee.

Majora's Mask evolves into Majora's Incarnation when Young Link defeats Majora's Mask and Majora's Incarnation evolves into Majora's Wrath when Young Link defeats Majora's Incarnation.
I just finished Majora's Mask (on the 3DS) for the 2nd time yesterday! Fun game!
I wonder if they’ll do DLC where Majora’s Mask makes a vital appearance for he plot.

Y'know it's been almost a quarter century. It'd be real nifty if Majora actually showed up and did something in a Zelda game beyond make a simple appearance. It's a great secondary/side antagonist.
True. Although I feel like Majora lorewise is imbued with the hatred and desire to take revenge on just the land of Termina, for banishing it from that land when they were still a child (before they were turned into a mask).
It seems to be implied that a person’s last wishes are imbued into their Mask, and I feel like Majora’s hatred ran so deep that it survived for thousands of years.. And might have caused even the Happy Mask Salesman to bring it to Termina in order to finally destroy it.
I would love to see that. Majora basically has the power of a god and it would be amazing to see Hyrule under the influence of the mask, could even bring us back to Termina.
5:25 Interesting to note the text states that The Legend of Zelda Majora's Mask game was in a different dimension. I remember the Game Theory making a video on it. It didn't make sense how link was lost in the woods, fell in a tree, and came out into a whole new world. So it's essentially confirmed that that world was created by the Mask itself. Pretty crazy!
Majora's Mask did not create Termina. Game Theory is unreliable. In the Official Lore, it was stated that Goddesses Din, Farore and Nayru, while creating the world, Termina manifested itself spontaneously, much to the surprise of the Goddesses.

Then explain why the item description of the Fierce Deity's/Kishin mask literally states otherwise. Furthermore, explain the meaning behind the Triforce denouncing artwork of the Stone Tower and why the Stone Tower even exists.

@@mattarificwolflink9280 makes sense, i only ever played it on the wii and the motion controls screwed me up a few times against him, i ended up needing to make a guardian potion

Majora's mask was in an obscure monster hunter game from Capcom (monster hunter stories). That game has a sequel with no mask :(
