Ahahah I'm an Italian living abroad and I'm fighting all the time because of this. I make prople simply food with just a few ingredients and they add more stuff. They can't understand Italian food got very simple recipes with just 2 or 3 ingredients and they think the more ingredients the better. One day they couldn't believe i had a pizza with just mozzarella, tomato and mushrooms. I've been pushed to add more stuff on top
