WET AND WILD GRAVEL EVENT | Smugglers' Path 2024

Smugglers' Path is one of those gravel cycling events you have to do. Well organised, great people, fantastic food en great routes. But man...the rain this year just flooded large parts of the route. Definitely tough going, a truly epic edition! Thanks to all the lovely organisers and the great people I met during the event!

Great video mate. I'll bet that small bit of dry gravel made the other 159KM of wet sludge worth the grind.....or not!!! Loving your work as always, sir.

And a grind it was 😅 also hard on the bike and brake pads. I just had them replaced, but think I'll be needing new ones again 😂 And thanks for the compliment, good sir! What will be your next event?

@@MaartenOverweg I'm now into the serious training phase for the Belvoir Castle Triathlon (Olympic distance). But, I've spotted a few sprints that I may drop in as 'B' races. Looking forward to seeing where the gravel takes you next, too.....what's on the plan?
